Anyone else still rocking baby to sleep / contact napping? I’m starting to wonder how much longer my arms will take it 🫣🤣
Think I’ll start trying to get her to sleep another way for 1 nap a day (gave up trying for a bit as she would end up over tired & more stress for both) but I know they’ll be 30 minute maximum naps because in the car / pram that’s all she manages, she wakes / goes into light sleep after her first sleep cycle then doesn’t manage to get back asleep if she’s not in my arms 🤦🏼♀️

Yeah I’m in the same boat 🫠 it’s all contact naps and has to be rocked to sleep, I think my shoulder might actually fall out of the socket 🤣

Yep 👍 us too. I'll probably need a shoulder replacement soon 🤣🤣

Yep! It's caused me to have a pinched nerve in my shoulder too 🥲 so contact napping only from now on as I can't handle the rocking

Yep I stopped now and now I lie next to her arm round her and hold her hand stroke her face cuddle her till she goes to sleep. Her afternoon nap we will just stay there till she wakes up. Evening one soon as she’s asleep she goes in her cot and then it’s my time then xx

Still rocking my July 24 baby 🤣 I’m trying to phase it out so I’m just holding her and walking around with her as my arms and back can’t take it anymore 🤣 x

Yes, all rocking and contact naps! We bounce on the yoga ball rather than rocking which makes life easier for the last 5/6 months 😆
