I seriously need help. My 13 month old baby is still breastfeeding and won’t take milk from bottle/cup – she does when she wants to but most of the time she just wants breast milk. I really am drained physically and mentally as I do not have a village to help me out. It doesn’t really help when i get comments from my husbands family “she’s breastfeeding again? She was just on you 30mins ago. I thought you’re tryna wean her off” it really is frustrating and I really need advise how to wean her off.

She doesn't need to have milk at all (cows milk) if she is getting calcium from other sources ie yogurts, cheese etc.
At this age if my daughter asked for it during the day I'd offer a drink of water and a snack, made the boobs inaccessible (layers, high neck tops etc). Only gave it morning and evening.

Yeah..husband and family..always get to my nerves ..never listen to them ,but like Natalie said ,try to trick her with something else ..let her moan a little bit or cry,not too much😂you know better after all..but try to give her something else ..a fruit ,a drink..but you have to stay sane in this situation..dont let the feeling get you…she needs you healthy ,happy and well..just keep up the good work you’re doing mummy❤️❤️

I’ve stopped breastfeeding as the supply was running out so it was slowly doing the job for me. However she’s still very hesitant towards milk, so we give her lots of yogurt and she eats her body weight in cheese lol! You can also get some magnesium supplement.
I did have to stop cold turkey to breastfeed her before bed, but that was my choice and there was so little milk left that it made sense. She still loves a nipple fiddle though 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Like everyone else says, don’t listen to anyone but your very own mummy’s intuition, by the end of the day, I’ve not seen any research to suggest breastfeeding for longer is damaging, so…. Don’t panic ❤️
