Seems I keep finding "fake" people looking for friends cause everytime I think I've maybe found one, they POOF disappear......

ISO : Genuine, truthful, no bullshit friends that I can message, text, video call, etc if need be. Someone who will listen and wanna be a part of my life and bring me into theirs. I would love someone local so we could go try new places, go on adventures, have playdates, and actually hang but I'm not opposed to being able to chat and video someone long distance (my best friend lives in Florida and we have never met IRL) so if you fit the mold and wanna go get tattooed, feel free to comment your favorite color, movie, and what your favorite picture of me and part about my about me section was (that way i know you're no bullshit). Work from home

How do you manage working from home and the baby. I go back to work in 2 weeks and am getting nervous how to balance a baby and my job. Any tips or tricks are appreciated

Lost my job

I was a working corporate girlie until yesterday when I randomly got fired. I'm 6 months away from being due. I'm trying to be positive about it but honestly i'm actually really devastated :"(

Employer not responding to flexible working request

I had a call with my manager in early August and I told her my plans for reducing to 3 days a week and not returning until April 2027 (Mat leave ends on 1st Dec 2026). She agreed and said was fine with her but I need to put in writing and email.

I sent the email the next day and I’ve had zero response for the formal flexible working request. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I have since emailed twice requesting to do some KIT days as I now only have 2 months to do them and could do with the money. However again these have had zero response.

I’m not sure what to do next if they keep ignoring emails.
