13 month old co sleeps...

Okayyyy so my 13 month old has co slept with us since he was about 6 months old. It needs to stop - he naps in his cot through the day and starts off in his cot at the start of the night and wakes without a doubt 10-10:30 every night knowing he'll get put back into my bed for the remainder of the night. How on earth can I stop this, we want our bed back 😭

Going to wait here for the answer too 😭 my son is the same and we put him to sleep in the cot if I really tried I could get him back to sleep then back in the cot when he wakes bht when ur half asleep it’s jsut too easy to just pick them up and lay them with u😭❤️

I don’t know if this helps or is still relevant but just sharing my experience with my little one (16months now) and we were the same! my baby was breastfed and would wake up at the same time or at 1am and walk into you room for feeds and cuddles. Once I weaned her (just last week) she stopped and sleeps through the night. I slept with her in her room and moved myself once she asleep for a couple nights. I also put a gate at her door, instead of closing the whole door. She’s in a toddler bed as well (I skipped the cot). I hope this was somewhat helpful 🥲

Not sure if this helps but with my little girl who still breastfeeds (16 months) I get into bed with her and wait till she falls asleep then get back into bed with my partner and if she wakes throughout the night, I just get back in and cuddle and feed her till she falls back to sleep and go to sleep myself in mine and my partners bed- i sometimes have to repeat twice before she stays asleep and sometimes she sleeps throughout the night

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
