Breastfeeding weighted feeds

I have rented a medical grade scale, and done some weighted feeds and babies (twins) are not drinking a lot. I’d say maybe 60mls average in 5-8 mins and they usually do a 120-150ml bottle easily of pumped milk.
My nipples don’t hurt so I’m unsure if it’s a shallow latch or if they just get bored? I know I have a fast letdown as I pumped for the first 15 weeks of their life. Any advice 🫠 desperate to drop the pumping so I can breastfeed and know they are getting more than they are

Bottles make it way easier so they might just find it hard switching? In your shoes I'd probably gradually come off pumping and trust they will up the feeds once they are hungry. You can always reverse if they start losing weight. Unless you think they arent latching well? In which case definitely go to your local breastfeeding group!

Babies are naturally lazy so will find bottles much easier . Are you pace feeding ? Also is the milk your giving in a bottle expressed or formula ?? Are they looking weight ? If they are not loosing , regular wet nappies and content between feeds i wouldn't be worried.

Breastfeeding is tiring for baby .

Weighted feeds i personally hate but I get why your doing it

If they are not loosing weight , content between feeds , normal output i would not worry about it at all. I get it after NICU it feels so overwhelming and you worry but if they're not loosing then it is a very good sign.

Chat GPT is AI not able to experience parenting etc from my experience sounds like they're thriving

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
