How do people take their car seat on the plane to ensure it doesn't get broken? Is there a special bag/box it can go into?
We have a travel pram (Silver Cross Jet 2) and the car seat doesn't fit onto this so we would have to carry the seat separately once we get there. Id rather take own car seat as will be renting a car and not sure how safe the rental car seats are. Baby will be 10 weeks old and we are going to Tenerife. Any advice appreciated

We got a car seat bag from Amazon which counts as one of your 2 free check in baby items! Worked a treat. You can also throw in anything that doesn’t fit in your case, there’s so much room and they don’t open to check 😂 I strapped in my toiletry bag etc. https://amzn.eu/d/0hO4HgFt

Heya! I bought a bag from Amazon and wrapped it in bubble wrap (also packed all the nappies in the seat for storage but also more padding).

Car seat bag and put nappies in there to protect. Also means you don’t have to pack them in suitcase. X

We came back from Tenerife after new years with jet2 and saw loads with travel bags for car seats filled with nappies etc things you don’t want to carry!
