My son is 15 months old, I just want to know when everyone stopped giving their toddlers milk/a bottle. He’s had 1 bottle to go to sleep with for a few months now.
Ive got no idea how to navigate taking it away, because I know it’s part of his routine that makes him know its bed time and he’s AMAZING at going to bed I’m just terrified of changing anything but I’m also terrified of the whole teeth rot.
I have tried it for the first time tonight, so he went to bed at 7, we did everything the exact same except instead of sleep sack > teeth > bottle > bed, it went, sleep sack > cup of milk > teeth > bed. So far he hasn’t cried and he’s doing what he usually does when he’s not *super* tired ,which happens when he’s had a longer nap than normal 😂, but I just feel so sad for him 🥲
I’m also contemplating only giving him a bottle for nap time instead of bed time…idk this is all new 🥲😂

I still give my son a bottle of follow on milk in the morning and night, hes nearly 3. You dont have to cut it out completely, its good for them to have milk/calcium, you can transition to a sippy cup if you wish x
