Umbilical cord finally off

After 18 days my son cord has fallen off (is this how it’s supposed to look 😭🩵). Does it look infected as the colour seems yellowish to me x

I would probably get this one checked lovely as my LO lost hers last week and it was dry. Xxx

No thats not how its supposed to look. Its supposed to be dry and look like a belly button at this point so definitely get this checked out. It looks infected.

It’s supposed to be dried up

When my little girls fell off straight after it looked similar to this and I was freaking out, I never touched it and it literally dried up within 24hrs. I did have a midwife appt though that day and they looked at it said it was fine. If your unsure contact midwife x

It looks much more dry now. I’ve shown a midwife and she said ii looks normal and needs to heal. Thank god

Yeh we used a bit of salt and gauze (on doctors advice) and it dried it up!

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
