Been like this for good 2 months will eat breakfast and most of his lunch barring sandwiches but never dinner tried changing times making early for a bit then later tried just giving fav foods but even that’s worn off even tried pretending to eat myself now he won’t do that either xx

It would upset and worry me too, but nothing bad will happen if you let him not eat. Maybe that takes the pressure off. Maybe don’t put food on their plate, give them an empty plate and let them take something only if they want it and ignore it. Focus on eating yourself, talking to your partner in case you get to eat dinner together (or maybe have someone join you) and just celebrate meal time for that aspect. We find our toddler eats best when we ignore him and just focus on ourselves. He won’t starve if he skips dinner, not if he’s eating during the other meal times :) or son was the opposite, he doesn’t like breakfast 😅

Cartoon at Reception

My daughter started Reception this September, and it seems like they watch one or two cartoons every day. One is usually *Numberblocks*, but the other changes—sometimes it’s *Bluey*, sometimes *Zog*...I’m not too happy about this, but I don’t know if it’s common for schools to use cartoons for various reasons. I wouldn’t want to be the only mom complaining 😅

Mum guilt

Hey, I’m just posting because I’ve got horrendous mum guilt. I have a 3 year old and now a 3 month old. Prior to having my baby, I was out with 3 year old all the time, always busy. That’s obviously not been the case since having baby. We still do go out but I feel like it isn’t as often. Am I just being harsh on myself? I just find it so overwhelming at the minute but don’t want my toddler to feel like the bar has dropped!

I hate him since having a baby

Hi people. I can’t stand my man since having my baby. He has nowhere near met my expectations of how he should help and trust me, I’m not too demanding. He’s not changed one nappy, one outfit, doesn’t wake up for night feeds. All I ask is when its early morning close to time he gets up for work to just give a fricking bottle and let me catch up on sleep and he says he’s got work. He is a provider and chooses to work his second job on weekends so we basically have a day a week as a family. I literally hate this man now, have NO desire to have sex and don’t even want to stay faithful. I know I should just leave but my baby is so young and I really didn’t want this for myself. It’s a hard pill to swallow that this is my current situation…

Weaning

Hi everyone! My little boy is 8 and half months old, we have been trying to wean him since 6 months but he is still not that interested, he doesn’t like purées as he won’t open his mouth for a spoon, and if I give him the spoon he uses his other hand to scrap the food off. We are mainly doing BLW which he will happily put the food in his mouth, but if he gets any in his mouth, he will gag and spit it out. Anyone having anything similar? He is still having breastmilk as I know their nutrition all still comes from their milk until they are 1, I’m just worried he is taking a long time to grasp the concept of swallowing food
