My little one is 9 months old and still not eating most of the food I prepare for him to try and eat himself - pancakes, omelettes etc. I offer it in strips for him to hold. He also still throws up if he has anything too lumpy. He will however eat things like jacket potato mashed up, and the pasta stars etc. Should I be worried that I still need to blend everything at this stage? Am still offering fingers foods and letting him play/explore in the hope be will start to get the hang of it. To be fair, he still doesn't have any teeth!

Don’t worry my son is the same, we’ve only just managed to get him onto little lumps now

My LG is not a fan of pancakes and omelette strips either! I've also done some fingers of kid friendly banana bread type stuff but I've learned she prefers more solid stuff, like a toasted tortilla wrap as crisps and fingers of mango, sourdough, chunks of gammon, cucumber sticks (she kinda drags out the flesh a bit). She also has no teeth!
