Hi everyone! My 6 month old eats every 3 hours through the day. She’s up at 630 am and her last feeding is at 9:30. I feel like I need to drop the 930 feeding since now I’m having to wake her up for it most times. She’s having 5.5 ounces per feeding. I’m scared dropping the 9:30 bottle won’t give her enough milk for the day, I’m also nervous she won’t sleep through the night anymore. Any suggestions or tips??

Increase the amount per feeding.

I do 7oz bottles 4x a day and if she finishes most of each bottle I’m happy and she sleeps through the night (7pm to 7am)

I feed on demand. My baby picks when he wants to eat. He eats right before going to bed and then sleeps through the night and eats when we wake up. He’s breastfed but o did this with my oldest who was formula fed and he slept through the night as well.

My 6 month old does 4 bottles, 6-8oz bottles. As long as she drinks 6oz-8oz bottles 4x a day she meets what she needs so 5.5 isn't far off. She will catch up! It's good she doesn't want to wake at 9pm lol don't touch her 🤣❤️ she recently tried waking at 4 or 5am for a bottle again so I'd only give her 2 or 3oz so 7/8am she still wanted 6-8oz. Now she's back to 7pm last bottle, sleep until 7am first bottle 😌 we had weight concern in the beginning she was 5lbs tiny. She's now 50% as of 5 mo so I stopped worrying about intake & upped her bottles to stretch her 4 hours & it's made a huge difference. She's on 2 naps a day 9am-10am & 12:30/1pm-3:30pm
