Hey mamas 🤍 just looking for a bit of reassurance. My little girl is 8.5 months and still drinking around 24–26oz of formula a day but has very little interest in purées or any solids. She’ll usually take a few spoonfuls or a couple of bites and then that’s it. We’re constantly offering food and always sit and eat with her so she can see us, and we’ve also tried slightly reducing her milk, but it hasn’t made any difference. I know every baby is different but I’m starting to worry a bit. Has anyone else been through this? When did solids finally click for your little one?

What does the feeding schedule look like

Hey my LO doesn't have a massive interest in food.
Some.days are better then others.
I found he loves porridge so we are having that and then a little snack for lunch then we try dinner.
Each day is completely different he does take about 26-32oz a day of formula.

This stage babies main source of nutrition is milk so I wouldn’t worry too much. Solids at this age is mainly for them to taste new flavours and get use to chewing and textures etc x

My little boy isn’t interested either, I love actually come on here to see or ask if anyone else’s baby is the same, my first wasn’t great but had taken to it well by this age. But this time round my son just isn’t interested. If he sees a spoon he literally seals his mouth shut, I can’t even try and get the spoon in a little bit, it’s very frustrating 😩
