I have a few. I have the spectra which is my "primary/main" pump. They have a corded and battery powered version. I have the corded so it isn't the most convenient.

I also recently got the momcozy s12 pro wearable pumps. So far I really like them!

I have a hand pump and some collectors but I personally don't use these much. I know some moms swear by them though!

I think regardless of which pump(s) you get, what's most important is the fit and comfort to ensure you are getting good output and have a pleasant pumping experience.

I have the momcozy m5
Pros: wearable pumps, so you can move around and do things. They are semi spheres, so you look like having big boobs rather than a cyborg with poking gadgets. They feel comfortable and are not too loud. You can buy spare parts and get the pump pump second hand easily

Cons: you have to charge them frequently and the m5 specifically uses a silicon that cannot be put on steam or microwave sterilisers. The parts need to be replaced every now and then, which is an ongoing cost

I also did momcozy hands free and I dont hate it but I've bent to ver when pumping and spilled milk out so yes u can do some things but just dont bend over

I have the momcozy v1 pros which I use as my main pump as they told nearly 8oz and also can use them as wearables if you put the control panel in your pocket or something. I have also used the M6s which were my main pump at one point but have transitioned to my travel/out the house pumps.

The main one I hired from the hospital it was actually the double hospital grade breast pump that was worth 2k I’m not paying that lol but they do have hire ads down at the store so I enquired and ended up hiring for 6m then passed on the hire to a friend that just gave birth and I kept paying for 6m until she returned it, was $25/w with a $200 deposit but you get the deposit back when you return it. Then I had a double Medela freestyle which was nowhere near as strong but since it was portable I put it in my bag and took it out w me when I went out for 3-4hrs so I could pump when I got engorged.

I have a spectra that I use once a day to make sure I’m empty.

I have a Momcozy M5 and the Eufy S1 pro. They both work well and I get the same output. I prefer the Eufy because I can customize a program and be completely hands-free until the session is over. With the M5, I have to manually adjust the settings and sometimes I get caught up doing things and realize I’m still on the stimulation mode after 10 minutes 😅

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
