After school routine

What is everyone’s after school routine?
I feel constantly lost in times of the afternoon/early evening and don’t seem to have a routine to go by.
I try to have a consistent bedtime that I really try to stick to but everything else is just ‘when it happens’ kinda thing.
But I would really like to stick to a semi-decent routine that my kids can get used to as well.
For reference, as well as my four (nearly five year old) I have a 3 year old at preschool and an almost 1 year old that I have to work around because his bedtime is slightly different to the older two.

Nursery

Hi, I am going to be a first time mum in December, at the moment we have a double bed in the spare room (which is going to be the nursery) my initial plan was to sell the bed, do people think this is a good idea.
Or during the night do you think it’s good to have in case baby won’t settle, and I can sleep in the spare room with him.
Preferably I would want to sleep in the same bed as my partner so hopefully won’t need it.
I just wondered what other people did?

Do you and when did you start turning on ms.rachel for your little ones? My baby is 10 months and I don't turn on any screens for her but I have heard that people start early to help with speech development. Obviously in moderation. Any thoughts

Co-sleeping

I’m feeling quite guilty.. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my baby is 10 weeks now, my husband is in the navy also which means me and baby alone most night. I’ve found myself just ending up co sleeping just because it happens, I feed then fall asleep and that’s how I sleep. When he was smaller and a new born or if me or if me and my husband are both in the bed I always prefer him and feel better with him in the next to me but when it’s just me is it okay to co sleep. Any tips on how to stay safe? I feel guilty because all my family hate it and the idea of it and I do too but non of them have ever breastfed.

Contact naps

LO is 9wo and only naps during day if they're contact naps but even now I think she's getting frustrated with the lack of space to move. Anyway, I'm happy to have contact naps but some days it'd be nice to have a break. And nope,she won't use a carrier, I've tried 8 and traditional tie methods, bouncers, nest pods etc. My question is can anyone shed light at the end of the tunnel? Did you have similar experience and how old was baby when the contact naps stopped?

Nursery bugs/loose bowels

Hi all my daughter started nursery 2 weeks ago on her third day at nursery she started with diarrhoea a few times a day leaking though her clothes then by Tuesday she started to go off her food and milk and had a slight temp so I took her to doctors, who said she just had a viral infection or something. Then by Wednesday/Thursday she started eating more food and milk food was getting a bit more firm and no temp then nursery rang Friday and said to get her because she had like 3 loose bowel movements and she’s really sore now and even today she’s still having loose poos I also noticed it’s a bit snotty/mucus and also smells like fish.

Had anyone had the same with there littles ones and what was it? I know babies pick stuff up at nursery but this has been going on over a week now but she’s just grumpy pretty much all the time and she’s normally really happy.
