6:30-7pm, we do bath, story and bedtime bottle, he then sleeps through until 7-8:30am the following day - no wake ups

We do bedtime between 6-7pm depending on what time last nap finishes, bottle downstairs, upstairs, close curtains, into pjs and change nappy, white noise on, into sleeping bag and into bed. She wakes up about 6:45am with no wakes us up occasionally she wakes up wanting her dummy but more often than not if she wakes up she self soothes and doesn’t wake us up

7ish she goes to bed, then we wake her for a dream feed at between 10 and 11 and she either sleep through or wakes between 4-5 for a bottle, then usually wakes around 7 😊

We're not as lucky as the ones above... bedtime 7-7.30, wakes anything from 3 to 6 times, he's up at 6 if I'm lucky, sometimes shortly after 5

Bed at 7, twin 2 sleeps through twin 1 sometimes wakes up around 4 for a quick feed, wake up time around 6.30 mon-fri(because of school run) and at the weekend around 7.30
Just to add my firstborn was up like every 2h😅

They’re all different honestly don’t worry. It completely depends on the temperament of the baby. My eldest is 2.5 and a totally independent sleeper now (without sleep training) but was a nightmare newborn with reflux and difficulties settling overnight. My May baby wakes more but doesn’t have reflux so it’s easier to manage. Sleep isn’t linear either so just because a baby might sleep through now doesn’t mean they always will and vice versa. Roll with the punches!

My daughter doesn't go to sleep until around 10-11pm (worrying now based on above comments this is way too late lol). On good days she then sleeps until around 4/5am, feeds then is back to sleep till around half 7. She and I don't really wake up properly for the day until around half 10am lol she likes a lie in.
So I’ve never breastfeed I don’t even know what it’s like.
My child was in formula since day one of birth…
A few of my relatives have said that women who breastfeed have a smell on them…
Is that like a milk smell that they have?

If you are going to be rude or insensitive to others, don’t comment on this post.
if you gave birth via caesarean, would it bother you if someone asked if you gave birth “naturally or by caesarean” (nothing to do with whether you were medicated).
When I gave birth I always answered “vaginally” to others and they seemed uncomfortable 🤣 there was nothing natural about that shit show lmao

Hi, not expecting a diagnosis obviously but maybe just some opinions and or advice. I have a nearly 4 month old. I’ve been to my doctor re my mental health and they have told me to do a self referral for some talk therapy but it looks like it could take a few months. I’m really struggling but I don’t know if it’s a normal amount as a new first time mum or something more. I feel very low a lot of the time, crying most days but not every day, feeling isolated (no mum friends), feeling like I’m not enjoying being a mum as much as I hoped, missing my old life and freedom, struggling with patience and the constant crying and fussing, feeling like it’s Groundhog Day, jealous of my husbands life, feeling like I’m not doing a good enough job, worrying I’m not doing things well enough and it will negatively affect her, only feeling better when I have people with me who know about kids and can step in and help eg in laws etc. I have tried hard to work on being positive, I get out for multiple walks every day, I’ve joined a sensory class, I’m on this app but I feel like none of it is really working or doing much. I feel like I’m ticking boxes of things that should help but I’m not making any mum friends and honestly a lot of the time it feels like I’m masking. Sometimes I get so upset and cry and I can’t really explain why….

Is it okay to let my 23 month old roam while I shower?
The house is baby proofed.

After lots of research, shop visits and trying different options, we’ve narrowed it down to the Joolz Aer², Silver Cross Nia and Bugaboo Butterfly.
We’re looking for one lightweight pushchair that is sturdy enough for everyday use, easy to carry as we live somewhere with no lift, and practical for travel too. We’d really prefer not to buy multiple pushchairs for different purposes, so ideally we want something that can work from newborn through to later toddler years.
We have tried all 3 and I feel in terms of sturdiness, Bugaboo would be the most sturdy, followed by Nia and then Joolz Aer2. Aesthetically and colour wise, I do prefer the Nia design.
Has anyone used any of these as their main everyday pushchair from birth? Would love to hear your experience and recommendations.

Hi, I am going to be a first time mum in December, at the moment we have a double bed in the spare room (which is going to be the nursery) my initial plan was to sell the bed, do people think this is a good idea.
Or during the night do you think it’s good to have in case baby won’t settle, and I can sleep in the spare room with him.
Preferably I would want to sleep in the same bed as my partner so hopefully won’t need it.
I just wondered what other people did?
