if you gave birth via caesarean, would it bother you if someone asked if you gave birth “naturally or by caesarean” (nothing to do with whether you were medicated).
When I gave birth I always answered “vaginally” to others and they seemed uncomfortable 🤣 there was nothing natural about that shit show lmao

It depends how they asked and who it was coming from 100% context is always important

I don’t understand why someone would ask that question as surely the default answer would be natural with maybe gas and air or pain relief unless there was a reason like previous history or medical issues. Surely it’s more how was the birth and then the person has the option of saying or maybe you or your partner might disclose it due to not being able to drive, being in pain ect.

I've had one vaginal birth and a planned C-section. There was nothing that felt 'natural' about my vaginal birth. It honestly drives me mad when people use 'natural' instead of vaginal. Not all vaginal births are the same.

I’ve had two C-sections and have no issues with the word “naturally”. There’s nothing natural about my births and I chose that route 🤣
I don’t take things to heart, natural, vaginal, whatever you want to say, mine got evicted out the sunroof and I’m very happy with that.

No it doesn’t offend me. But I always make sure to say vaginally instead of naturally. I think people only say naturally because society has taught us that vagina is a bad word

Tbf it doesn’t bother me when people ask if I had a natural or c section but I think I was never bothered by the fact I didn’t give birth vaginally. My first was just traumatic that’s the only way I’d describe that one 😅

I’ve had 2c-section and I don’t care how people call their birth naturally or vaginally ! And anyway all « natural » or vaginal aren’t the same… and so what ! A birth is a birth and a warrior act no matter what your way of put that Baby out !!

It did when I had my first. It wasn't expected and I really wanted a vaginal birth... My second was an elective C-section because childcare for my first was an issue. I don't really mind now, but freshly postpartum it stung a bit because it felt like I failed in a sense....
Has anyone else dealt with this? My 7-week-old struggles every night to pass gas, grunting and kicking for hours starting at 2:00 AM. It's making sleep impossible for both of us! Has anyone tried gripe water,or other remedies, and did you actually see results? Would love to hear what worked for you. We do have Infacol but cannot really see improvement.

So I’ve never breastfeed I don’t even know what it’s like.
My child was in formula since day one of birth…
A few of my relatives have said that women who breastfeed have a smell on them…
Is that like a milk smell that they have?

Is it okay to let my 23 month old roam while I shower?
The house is baby proofed.

After lots of research, shop visits and trying different options, we’ve narrowed it down to the Joolz Aer², Silver Cross Nia and Bugaboo Butterfly.
We’re looking for one lightweight pushchair that is sturdy enough for everyday use, easy to carry as we live somewhere with no lift, and practical for travel too. We’d really prefer not to buy multiple pushchairs for different purposes, so ideally we want something that can work from newborn through to later toddler years.
We have tried all 3 and I feel in terms of sturdiness, Bugaboo would be the most sturdy, followed by Nia and then Joolz Aer2. Aesthetically and colour wise, I do prefer the Nia design.
Has anyone used any of these as their main everyday pushchair from birth? Would love to hear your experience and recommendations.

Hi, not expecting a diagnosis obviously but maybe just some opinions and or advice. I have a nearly 4 month old. I’ve been to my doctor re my mental health and they have told me to do a self referral for some talk therapy but it looks like it could take a few months. I’m really struggling but I don’t know if it’s a normal amount as a new first time mum or something more. I feel very low a lot of the time, crying most days but not every day, feeling isolated (no mum friends), feeling like I’m not enjoying being a mum as much as I hoped, missing my old life and freedom, struggling with patience and the constant crying and fussing, feeling like it’s Groundhog Day, jealous of my husbands life, feeling like I’m not doing a good enough job, worrying I’m not doing things well enough and it will negatively affect her, only feeling better when I have people with me who know about kids and can step in and help eg in laws etc. I have tried hard to work on being positive, I get out for multiple walks every day, I’ve joined a sensory class, I’m on this app but I feel like none of it is really working or doing much. I feel like I’m ticking boxes of things that should help but I’m not making any mum friends and honestly a lot of the time it feels like I’m masking. Sometimes I get so upset and cry and I can’t really explain why….
