Has anyone gotten pregnant less than 12 months after an emergency c section?

If so any info on complications would be appreciated. Just got my period back after 8 months. My doctor gave me the go ahead to try again 12 months after delivery but we are eager to get started 😆

I had 2 planned c-sections and am 29 weeks pregnant with baby 3. I was around 8 months pp when I conceived this baby. I wouldn’t say I’ve had complications that would be blamed on getting pregnant before a year pp but I’ve had on and off spotting throughout for no reason and I had a kidney stone about a month ago, I have history and family history of stones I just never had to pass one while pregnant. My doctor didn’t say anything about getting pregnant sooner that 12 months but he told me to wait until after 12 months after my first(I waited 2 years) I think you’d be fine to start trying anytime your feeling ready. My 14 month old will be 16 almost 17 months when her little brother is born

Yep we have an 18 month gap - first was an emergency c-section. Second was a perfectly healthy pregnancy, planned c-section, and healthy baby ❤️ I did have them check my scar and everything internally at an early reassurance scan

Sonographer couldn't guess the gender at 18 weeks!

So I went for a gender scan today at exactly 18 weeks pregnant. The baby was soo active, it wouldn't sit still at all. So it made it very difficult and awkward to guess it's gender. It looked like a GIRL at first when we looked between the legs, as it was flat. But then on a side view, we could see something cropping up from the hips above the legs. So it looked like a BOY! The sonographer said she was unable to tell, so we rebooked the scan in 2 weeks. Is this normal? Has anyone else had instances where they couldn't find the gender? ...

Also I've added pictures of my baby scans from 8 week (Top), 12 weeks (Middle) and the 18 weeks (Bottom) scans for you to please guess if you can identify what you think it'll be? I'm sooo curious!

Advice/ Reassurance

Hey Guys! I’m 36 weeks and had my growth scan yesterday. Consultant advised that baby is transverse. Have to go back for presentation scan at 37 weeks and if no change, will have be admitted to hospital until a planned C-Section as they don’t want to risk natural labour. Anyone else been through something similar?
Thanks!

C-section Trauma
Anyone else have a similar experience?

So for my first baby, I ended up getting preeclampsia so I got induced which ended up an emergency C-section for my second. I was given the option to do vaginal birth, or C-section at first I was fairly confident in my decision of choosing a C-section for familiarity however, the closer I got to my scheduled appointment it just felt wrong, I was getting more nervous and sad that I would be missing out on the opportunity to actually try to have a vaginal birth. I’d already taken the week off prior to my scheduled surgery to help prepare myself and would have loved to have just waited it out till he came on his own
however, I had a strict two months of leave time so if I were to have pushed past my appointment date to try and wait for vaginal birth, I would’ve been losing out on the time with my baby before I went back to work waiting for him to come. And the familiarity i thought I would have, I realized things were gonna be completely different. I was rushed in to my first C-section and while laboring, I was basically being prepped for it. My epidural already placed and catheter put in. For my scheduled C-section, I’d have to arrive two hours early and go through all the prep. By the time I arrived to the hospital, I was practically terrified for my surgery. I had the shakes before even going into surgery and even worse while in surgery I practically threw up the whole time. Thankfully, I was able to get skin to skin contact with my baby this time around during surgery instead of being knocked out at the end like last time, but I feel this time around was more traumatic than my emergency C-section, which left me with really bad postpartum and because I was so shut down from my surgery it took me almost 3 weeks to feel connected to my baby and I’ll never get that time back.

I am 16 days post elective c section and bleeding stopped around day 7. Today (day 16pp) I have suddenly started bleeding again. Its quite bright but no clots or any other warning signs currently but has made me worry slightly. Any one else experience this?
