Can be pretty normal, most people stop and start. Think about the volume youre losing rather than anything else. If youre concerned then call your health visitor or midwife

Thank you for youre responses. It completely caught me off guard! I googled it which just said in some cases it can be normal and then went on to say all the things that could be wrong! I will call triage should anything change but just wanted to know if its "normal" or not. My first born my bleeding stopped after 7 days and theb my period returned 4/5 weeks later so was not expecting this today.

It could also be your period unfortunately! I was shocked to find once my lochia stopped I immediately had a period 🥴 it was a bit later than this though, I think I was around a month PP so I’d guess it’s just your lochia stopping and starting

Sonographer couldn't guess the gender at 18 weeks!

So I went for a gender scan today at exactly 18 weeks pregnant. The baby was soo active, it wouldn't sit still at all. So it made it very difficult and awkward to guess it's gender. It looked like a GIRL at first when we looked between the legs, as it was flat. But then on a side view, we could see something cropping up from the hips above the legs. So it looked like a BOY! The sonographer said she was unable to tell, so we rebooked the scan in 2 weeks. Is this normal? Has anyone else had instances where they couldn't find the gender? ...

Also I've added pictures of my baby scans from 8 week (Top), 12 weeks (Middle) and the 18 weeks (Bottom) scans for you to please guess if you can identify what you think it'll be? I'm sooo curious!

Advice/ Reassurance

Hey Guys! I’m 36 weeks and had my growth scan yesterday. Consultant advised that baby is transverse. Have to go back for presentation scan at 37 weeks and if no change, will have be admitted to hospital until a planned C-Section as they don’t want to risk natural labour. Anyone else been through something similar?
Thanks!

C-section Trauma
Anyone else have a similar experience?

So for my first baby, I ended up getting preeclampsia so I got induced which ended up an emergency C-section for my second. I was given the option to do vaginal birth, or C-section at first I was fairly confident in my decision of choosing a C-section for familiarity however, the closer I got to my scheduled appointment it just felt wrong, I was getting more nervous and sad that I would be missing out on the opportunity to actually try to have a vaginal birth. I’d already taken the week off prior to my scheduled surgery to help prepare myself and would have loved to have just waited it out till he came on his own
however, I had a strict two months of leave time so if I were to have pushed past my appointment date to try and wait for vaginal birth, I would’ve been losing out on the time with my baby before I went back to work waiting for him to come. And the familiarity i thought I would have, I realized things were gonna be completely different. I was rushed in to my first C-section and while laboring, I was basically being prepped for it. My epidural already placed and catheter put in. For my scheduled C-section, I’d have to arrive two hours early and go through all the prep. By the time I arrived to the hospital, I was practically terrified for my surgery. I had the shakes before even going into surgery and even worse while in surgery I practically threw up the whole time. Thankfully, I was able to get skin to skin contact with my baby this time around during surgery instead of being knocked out at the end like last time, but I feel this time around was more traumatic than my emergency C-section, which left me with really bad postpartum and because I was so shut down from my surgery it took me almost 3 weeks to feel connected to my baby and I’ll never get that time back.
