Indigestion - PLEASE HELP

I got omeprezole from my gp, but I also have gaviscon liquid and sugar free rennie chewable tablets

I find the standard Gaviscon too thin and very ineffective. Gaviscon double action or advanced works much better. Although, Gaviscon is very expensive, the own brand boots heartburn liquid is just as good as Gaviscon double action and half the price.

Someone told me that hot water with sugar was a home remedy … can’t see any harm in giving it ago x

I was already on omeprazole which does help and then I asked the doctor to prescribe gaviscon advanced as it’s very expensive and I’ve been choking in my sleep! Definitely worth asking x

Yes i get severe heartburn and acid reflux until early hours of the morning, also going to my GP for ompramazole. I am 31 weeks. Its horrible.

I found the rennie tablets better than anything else! Even omeprazole/gaviscon etc
