No stop crying

Need some advice my 2 month old baby girl is crying hysterically all the time at the moment and only stops when she’s asleep or having a feed. My first was never like this but he was a boy and they say boys and girls can be different. I’m not sure if it’s colic, reflux so I’m going to try colic drop but does anyone have any ideas on how to sooth her as cuddles and dummy isn’t doing anything.

Definitely try colic drops or gripe water.
My little one liked movement so we would go for a walk with the carrier or pram ( she preferred the carrier as she wanted to be close)
Warm baths , belly rubs , bicycle legs , skin to skin.
Is baby being sick ? Explosive poos ?
My little one started with colic at 8 weeks old before starting to present allergy symptoms at 9 weeks old until finally getting a CMPA diagnosis at 16 weeks old xxx

Could it be an allergy? Not sure if bottle feeding or breast feeding, but someone I know had a baby with an egg allergy which was coming into her breast milk. And another friend is bottle feeding and her baby was allergic to the normal formula.

Bless you!! Simple but, I find when nothing else works I put baby in a carrier and take him outside for a walk. The fresh air and breeze shocks him a bit and then the walk knocks him out as it’s often tiredness more than anything.

Well worth trying the colic drops.

Could be constipation? Prunes or raisin water?

Good luck, and look after yourself, it will just be a phase x

Thank you for the advice we went for a walk today in baby carrier it does see to be the best way to get her to settle. She’s been having runny poos and is a little sicky so I do think it might be a mixture or colic and reflux. We are having warm baths daily to get her chilled out for bed time as it’s the only way to settle her. Thank you for the advice guys x

Baby doll

Anyone get their son a baby doll? Did they love it?
Thinking of getting mine one for christmas as he's gravitated towards one a couple of times at a toddler group. For context my son will be 18 months, nearly 19 months at Christmas.

How often are we changing sleepsuit?

If baby isn’t spitting up / having poop explosions and their sleepsuit is fine, how often are we changing them into a fresh one?

Are we changing them daily? I have been doing so but my husband thinks it’s pointless to change them into clean clothes if their outfit hasn’t got messy or dirty

Dummies

Anyone using a dummy yet for their LO?

My eldest had one until she was 2 and it was a lifesaver as she struggled to get to sleep.

Our 6 week old has been so fussy today and nothing would calm her or her her to sleep. Tried a dummy and she's definitely taken to it.

I was going to try avoid it this time round but think we may give her one for naps and sleep.

Day naps

How long and how many day naps are your babies having? Mine is 3 months now and sometimes she has 20mins , 30 mins, 40 mins or 1 h..and if very lucky..2h. Is everyone experiencing something similar ? Sometimes I think she needs more

Sleep

I know it’s highly recommended that you and your child sleep in the same room until 6 months old, but I’m just curious if many people moved their babies into their own room sooner?
