Sleep

I know it’s highly recommended that you and your child sleep in the same room until 6 months old, but I’m just curious if many people moved their babies into their own room sooner?

My little girl is 4 months I've just had to move her into her nursery as she's too long and has outgrown her next to me crib and I don't have room in my bedroom for a cot. She's doing well so far. I have a camera set up so I can see her at all times x

We did same with eldest for the same reasons
And 2nd at just before 6 months

Both slept really well.

I would put them down for one nap a day in the lesd up to going in own room so they were used to it. I would leave door open and do little jobs in other bedrooms at first so I was rigbt nearby.

not sure if helpful because it's a bit outdated but my mom moved me out sooner. she just really needed the sleep and needed me to start learning to self soothe. i didn't like being moved out but i got over it. i've always been a mama's girl and was super attached to her as a kid for as long as i can remember for avoidance of doubt so didn't damage the bonding in any way 😊

Baby doll

Anyone get their son a baby doll? Did they love it?
Thinking of getting mine one for christmas as he's gravitated towards one a couple of times at a toddler group. For context my son will be 18 months, nearly 19 months at Christmas.

Refusing nap at age2 help!

My little one is 2y 2m old. She has just all of a sudden stopped napping. Nursery told me they spend half hour with her and she won't sleep and same at home. I'm really worried nursery will stop trying. But she just will not settle down at all all of a sudden. Help please. It's way too early for her to drop the nap!

CMPA? (Photo)

My baby is really congested overnight. She’s always congested - but particularly more snorty after a bottle of Kendamil. She’s primarily breast fed with one bottle of formula a day in the afternoon. Her poops are also explosive and look like this. Does this look like CMPA, so sorry for the photo! Two first poops from two different mornings. Will add the second to the comments.

Travelling with a 1 year old

Can I put a car seat in the front passenger seat for travelling with my baby?! He hates the car and just cries if he’s in the back by himself. I have family 4 hours drive away and I have to do the travel alone most of the time. It’s so stressful and exhausting trying to entertain him and I can’t just let him cry. How do you travel with a baby who hates the car? 😩

Sleepless nights due baby nonstop crying on and off for over 2/3 hours

I’m literally at breaking point, with my baby, his 3 week old and there’s some nights where he will do a screaming party in the early hours of the morning and it’s nonstop crying and I feel like a awful mum for it, I try everything to settle him and he not having none of it, and when I got my son checked at hospital because I was so worried they said he was healthy which is good news that he healthy just feel deflated and hopeless mum, and it’s destroying my mental health, at the minute.
I don’t remember my oldest boy being anything like this, I remember doing feeds and he’d stay up but not the screaming constantly.
