Meltdowns in public

My LO has been having the most epic meltdowns this week that last for ages. The last few days we’ve been away and have been out in public when they’ve happened. He screams his head off and asks to be held but then kicks me and pushes me away. I tried putting him in the buggy but he was fighting so hard I couldn’t strap him in. I couldn’t carry him either as he kept pushing me off and trying to get out of my arms and I was so worried I was going to drop him. He also kept throwing himself on the floor and throwing his head back.

I am always calm but find it so upsetting when he is pushing me away - I feel totally helpless and self conscious. Is anyone else going through this? Has anyone got any suggestions?

This is new this week - he has been ill and is possibly teething so I’m hoping it’s symptoms of that?!

Tbh my girls seems to have come through this phase but when she would have tantrums like this, id leave her on the floor, if it was safe obv, & just sit next to her and let her know im there when shes ready & she would usually stop within 5-10 mins. It feels like a lifetime at the time but let them do what they need to, ignore the stares and focus on your child.
Outsiders always stare or will want to pass comment but they arent raising your child, you are. You got this! X

NEED TO RANT

My husband and I have recently come abroad with our baby to meet his parents and family. We have been here 1 day and he has gone out drinking with his friends. I wouldn’t mind usually except he came home at 8:30pm drunk looking for a bottle of alcohol. His mum enables him and they were opening every cupboard imaginable and making so much noise that he woke our baby up. Our baby who hasn’t slept today due to the amount of visitors we have had. He then got his drink and left again. He left the room in such a mess as well. He didn’t even apologise for waking our child up showing he doesn’t care at all.

I’m fed up because we have come to see his family and introduce our baby. I don’t speak the language either so there’s a barrier. Most of them are telling me what to do (using arm gestures etc so we understand each other) and I’m lonely. It’s not a break or holiday for me. I enjoy myself more at home. I know while I’m here I’ll just be stuck inside at home every day and that isn’t what I want for me and my baby.

I feel like I want out of my marriage. Am I wrong with how I feel? x

Son having pain

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone's son has experienced testicle/penis pain as a toddler? My 2 year old son has been commenting on his penis hurting at night but he hasn't seemed like he was in pain so I wondered if it was just discomfort with his diaper because he's showing signs of readiness for potty training.
The last day he has been showing signs that he's in pain and saying it hurts under his penis (assuming his testicles).
Wondering if I should take him in or if this is normal? My older son has never had any pain complaints but I know every child is different so it may be normal for some kids?
He's not circumcized if that matters and he's not having any other symptoms other than the pain

Am I wrong

So I am a 38 year old female with 3 kids and one being autistic. My two youngest’s dad says he wants more kids with me. I told him no I don’t want anymore kids. I had so much complications with my last son had to have an emergency c section. I am still having so much pain and still have pain from the c-section after 6 years they sued up a piece of my uterus wall when they were closing me back up. So now he’s mad at me because I said no I don’t want anymore kids. Like am I tripping cause I’m standing ten toes down on not having anymore kids .

Just over it..

Seems like alot of women go through the same thing it's basically normalised..I'm so tired of complaining about this or even trying to get through to my partner. Basically the constant work load of the home.. the mess the clutter the picking up after everyone else I just dont know what to do anymore or what to think.. I'm not working so that's what I tell myself to keep me sane.. it's not that serious coz he's working and tired. But it's so much deeper than that, just because he works should I have to pick up after him like ine of my kids.. its not changing I've voiced this again and again and I'm done. At the end of the day it really is affecting mental health because I feel I can't keep up and therefore like a failure. Sorry for the rant, any advice? X
