Hello,
I’ve been badly struggling with HG for the past 13 weeks now and it’s really taken a toll on me. I’m taking xonvea and ondansetron now, which seem to work better than other meds I’ve tried, however I’m still very unwell.
I’ve been signed off work for the past 7 weeks which is making me feel anxious and guilty and I’m longing for some normality back in my life so was keen to try and return soon, as I really hoped I’d be a bit better by now. Unfortunately I’m not and I know deep down I’m not well enough to return but the emotions I feel around it all are so overwhelming that I’m not really sure what to do.
Just looking for some advice or support from anyone who has been through similar please? 🙏🏼

Heya, I went through this same, feel free to message me x

I went through HG *severely* and it affected my work and attendance for about 4 months. I felt deathly ill. I lost 15 pounds in the first few months before gaining anything. Luckily my employers were overall understanding. Over time I could tell it obviously affected everyone else and I would get the feeling they hated me at that point. Once I felt better right at the end of 4 months, I worked my ass off to show them I’m back and thanks for letting me do what I needed to do most days. I definitely felt tension from co workers but they never said anything or made a big deal luckily. I think they really appreciated when I extra stepped up when feeling better.
But don’t be stubborn like me and fight the nausea with nothing. Do the fluids and snacks. Only thing that will keep you afloat.

Hi hun , i been through this with my 1st pregnancy and right now I’m pregnant .. 7weeks . Im just dying everyday and i cannot even have a sip of water. I had with my 1st and this time it is worst but your health is more important thn anything. I am to the point that i need to go to emergency and get IV otherwise i will faint. Yes - you did a right decision that took off . I was and im off now cuz it is not easy . Wishing you all the best and hopefully it won’t last long.

Hey I was off for 8 months through mine so don’t feel bad. I wanted so much to go back but I just couldn’t I was so poorly l. HG is the worst! I’m now nearly 5 months postpartum still have the job but haven’t been to work in over a year! Once baba comes they keep you busy!.
So my son has recently turned 6 months and a week or so. I wanted to know what you guys are doing binky wise? Are you weening or ? Because I have only been letting or giving him his when he cry’s super bad having a hard time sleeping or if he grabs it himself. Doing it this way I have noticed him slowly put the binky down himself but maybe I’m moving too early?

Hey all - my 3 month old has lost almost all her hair 😢 she looks like Groundskeeper Willy right now. She has a bit of cradle cap, but the hair lost is a ring around her head. Is this expected? She was my little ginger haired girl 🥺

Took my 4 year old last night to the Er with a ear infection. They asked her two questions “Donyou feel safe at home ? She reply no . Does any one hurt you she reply big bubba .
Okay ladies this is not true . Her and her big bubba wrestle and play fight . And I honestly don’t think she understood the first question . I’m freaking out and wondering if I will get CPS on me

Hi ladies, I’m looking for recommendations for natural material (cotton, bamboo, etc) padded bralettes.
I’m a 23 weeks pregnant with a very small chest but wide back. I’ve always been blessed that I can wear bralettes and looking for some that I can wear now and for breastfeeding that have some padding so my nips don’t show 😅 I’m also very aware that my boobs should be getting bigger later on so a bit unsure about sizing if anyone has any advice. Thanks ❤️

My 11 week old is really congested and struggling with a cold. The infant olbas oil says unsuitable for under 3 months. I think I’m just paranoid, but will we be okay to use it? And if so how is best to use it?
