Personally, I would. I know every mom does things differently. But I like to be able to feed my baby every 2-3 hours. Even when they are asleep, I’ll wake them up to make sure they get their feed

I would give a bottle now and then I would leave her until she wakes again. My son was sleeping through at that age and that’s fine as he was above his birth weight and gaining weight fine. We would give a dream feed at around 10-11pm though

After my baby had regained their birth weight we didn’t wake them for feeds. Our son was a bit of a chubby and big baby though (99% percentile) so we weren’t really anxious about his weight :)

She has now woke up for a bottle she is well over her birth wait and on the 80th percentile she’s also on the chubby side 😂

I wouldn't let her sleep without a bottle for longer than around 4 hours hun

You don’t need to wake a sleeping baby up, your baby will wake up once she is hungry dear.

Do what you feel is best🩷my little girl is 90th percentile never dropped after birth weight, after a few weeks I just let her sleep and stopped waking her for a bottle, she would wake me up when she wanted a bottle she’s now 4 months and sleeps from 9/10pm till 7am, she just got herself into this routine, she loves her sleep😂🙈

I usually woke up my baby to eat even if people told me not to lol I would usually just rub the bottle by her mouth to see if she caught it and if not then I’d leave her alone to sleep more 🎀

The whole dont wake a sleeping baby thing isn't correct. I have twins and the drs and nurses all told me to wake them every 3 hours for feeds then when they got to a certain weight it was every 4 hours, then on demand once they hit another weight

I try to feed on demand , now at 6 months we are dealing with sleep regression where she wakes up after every 2 hours . Enjoy your sleep gal 😂

you only have to wake them if they aren’t maintaining their weight and by 7 weeks, it’s likely they aren’t dropping much if anything. my daughter was sleeping through the night from 9 weeks, as she was maintaining a steady weight and not dropping we were told just to leave her, if she’s hungry she will wake up

F. I m in a similar situation my baby is also 7weeks, breastfeeding ,and regularly goes 4+ hrs without feeding sometimes 5hrs , he’s gaining ok.
Its interesting to see both responses. I guess the whole don’t let them go beyond 2-3hrs w/o feeding is before they regain birth weight after that i suppose it’s really upto the baby or you. At least that what I make from all the comments

I feed on demand I did with my first born and she turned out fine shes 2 now my second born is doing well too after they get to there birth weight I think its fine to just feed them as they want but I usually say 4hrs is the max time without a feed
My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.
Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.
But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???
Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?
This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.
😒
Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.
FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

Controversial one and I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I miss daughter waking up in the night. She’s always been a 6:30-7:30pm to bed kinda baby. But she’d wake up twice a night.
However all of a sudden she’s started sleeping through but the catch is she goes to sleep after 9pm. By the time we’ve put her to bed and go ourselves sorted there isn’t much of an evening left to spend with my husband.
We used to cook together and watch films or box sets and chat. It’s done wonder for keeping our love life going as we’ve navigated becoming parents. But now we almost don’t have any down time together.
We get up around 6:15am for our jobs so it’s not realistic for us to be staying up much later.
Has anyone else experienced similar?

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.
She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.
She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.
Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

What are we doing with these 4am wake ups let them play in cot while go back to sleep? Try get them back to sleep? Or just give up entirely and start your day 😂🫠

My little one is about to turn one and I know I need to be reducing her formula intake. She does eat well but there is always a concern she isn’t eating everything she needs nutritionally. She currently has 4 150ml bottles a day. 1st one about 05:45 and the final one before bed and tooth brushing. She loves her milk so I know it will be hard to reduce. My aim is to lose the day bottles first.
