Follow up on 16 week bleeding

Just wanted to encourage other mamas to fight for your babies, in spite of a subchorionic hemorrhage measuring about 250ml worth of blood, cervical dilation, and contractions-we are now stable!

God is so good, He can work miracles and I just really wanted to say that the power of prayer and belief in trusting Him to do the supernatural is so overwhelming and impactful. I've never felt anything remotely close to this peace and relief, and I just wanted to encourage you if you find yourself here.

On call OB cannot explain how given what she saw she told me "when your baby's heartbeat stops we will medicate you to induce labor." She came in 8 hours after my initial visit to light spotting, dark brown, and a baby who was consistently staying 143-155bpm. He didn't give up and God didn't say it was time yet. We see a Fetal Maternal Specialist on Monday, and I'm beyond grateful that my baby who was first visualized with a heartbeat at 5w 4d is so determined to get here 🙏🏼

Miracles are real. Stay blessed and take care of yourselves mamas, I just had to share this testimony and praise the Lord for His mercy through this process 🙌🏼

I recognize what an incredibly humbling and privileged experience this is; don't ever take your children for granted mamas. Some of us struggle through so much to be mothers, thank God for His hand through this journey. Whether you've lost (I've had two) or have earth-side babies, what a blessing to know this experience as intimately as we get to.

Slow labour?

So i went in for my sweep today, i am 39+6. Baby is 3/5 engaged. I was already around 4cm dilated but NOT in active labour. Ive been having cramps for the past 2 weeks and honestly feel like the sweep did absolutely nothing🙂. I lost my mucus plug and that was about it. I feel like this baby just doesnt want to come out. Im tired and so over it. The pain is absolutely just tiring me out however everytime i go to triage to get it checked out they say its normal. I have tried everything and anything at this point. Is anyone else in the same boat or is it just me

Induction

Those who have experienced induction before, whether good or bad experiences, are you able to pinpoint why the outcome was good or bad? For example what week were you induced at and was there a point in the process that looking back was a good sign/sign things probably would not progress?

Hopefully this makes some sort of sense....

Induction…

Soooo, I was really against inducing after my first baby as it was not a nice experience at all!!
But due to a change in medical conditions I’m having to be induced this week now as I want to avoid a c section due to being on my own with the kids throughout the week.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has had second time round a better experience few mums at school have said it’s a lot quicker second time round.

I’m just wondering as I now have to sort out care for my 5 year old as I was in for over a week with her😩
