So all this time it’s just been kinda funny how big and fast our son has been growing. From what we understood, it’s normal, and every baby is different in ways. Well we’ll be about 6.5 months when we go to the pediatrician. He hasn’t been since 4 months and we knew he grew, it was evident in his clothes. We had just bought size 12m for him to grow out of it this week. Now we are exclusively on 18m clothes. Size 5 diapers. Crazy. Anyway, even though it’s crazy it doesn’t mean I thought it was a problem… until recently. We’ve been getting out every day and multiple times a day everyone is literally shocked at his age when they see his size. Today we were in Chinatown, and a woman had a 1 year old girl who was smaller than my son, and so many people (employees and customers) gasped and came around to look at him. In an obvious way 😂 I wasn’t bothered by it I’m Chinese lol. But my baby is the only baby I’ve been around so I have no perspective on if he’s too big, or if it’s even a bad thing? This photo was taken on his 6 month. We’ll be seeing the pediatrician Tuesday
He is formula fed, takes 25-33oz in 24hrs. This seems normal to me? He is very heavy though lol

my girl will be 7m on the 13th & she’s in size 5 diapers & in 18m-2t clothing!! healthy babes ☺️

My son is the EXACT same 😂 he just turned 6 months and takes 32-36oz a day plus solids now and wears 18mo and size 5 diapers. He’s just a big boy. My pediatrician explained that it’s not necessarily their weight, but their growth. For example, if your 40th percentile baby jumps to the 90th percentile or vice versa, that warrants investigation. I think you just have a nice healthy chunk on your hands though 😂

I have the opposite problem. My girl is a 0%er at 12 lbs at 6.5 months. She's still in 3-6 sometimes 0-3 clothes. As long as the doctor's not worried I'm not! Babies come in all shapes and sizes! 😊

Sounds just like my daughter 😂 We cloth diaper and we’re getting close to them not fitting anymore 😬 she’s 99th percentile for height and 86th for weight. Her pediatrician isn’t concerned one bit! In fact he makes a comment along the lines of “My goodness she’s growing like a weed!” Everytime he sees her😂

My boy was in the 34th percentile for weight at 2 months.
At 4 months, shot up to the 85th percentile for weight. I was worried!
Now at 6 months he totally thinned out and is in the 58th percentile for weight!
As long as pediatrician isn’t worried, you shouldn’t be!

How precious!!! He is perfect !! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

He’s so cute ! I always got told that once they walk they loose weight as they walk it off as such ..
I’m sure the paediatrician will tell you if it’s a problem , I’ve never known it to be

My girl is the same and has been for a few months, she’s 9 months and also wears 12-18m clothes. A lot of the time the 12m stuff is soo small width wise but length it’s good so we opt for size 18m!

This is the first thing I saw when I got on and my heart melted seeing that adorable little face lol my daughter was big at 6 months too everyone always thought she was older than what I’d tell them then they would ask how she’s so big for her age the doctor said it’s perfectly normal some babies are just bigger than others

He’s perfect!! And just looks extra big compared to a tiny mama!

He’s perfect! Hims just a chonkyy babe 😍 So cute!!!

Too much milk maybe? Sometimes if you just formula feed they get chubby, can be normal but if he’s overweight worth reviewing the milk type & amount. Ps he’s very cute

He is fine! My baby is currently in a larger diaper size than my oldest was in when we potty trained 😂
They can share pjs
Kids just grow different

Ur baby is so cute omg!!!
I've just come home from work only to find out my mum has been giving my 13 month old son Maynards wine gums
My son ran up to me so I picked him up and he started crying and pointing so I followed where he was pointing which was my mum's bag, he reached in and grabbed the packet and then started screaming because I told him no. She said I've only been giving him smaller pieces! So!?? Now my son's having a meltdown....
Told her off. She said she won't do it again. Do I trust her? No😅
It's hard parenting our parents.

I can’t believe I’m writing this but here’s the story - my boyf said he’s invited his mum over this morning as he wants to see her and she wants to see our son who’s now 10 months.
I said cool , I’m recovering from a cold and said he’ll look after me today the best as he could. Which was nice to hear.
Anyway. I didn’t think much of her visit I just got on with my day , rested a bit more and did the never ending laundry after our trip away. I was in and out the kitchen chatting a bit but very low energy.
She then decided to leave at 3:30 but , my boyfriend keeps saying you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. She said no it’s fine and the starts to cry!!
I could hear her saying no it’s fine please don’t worry I should go. I didn’t know if I should get involved so I just said bye and left them to talk.
When she’s left I’m not having an explosive argument with my BF because it was my fault , she didn’t feel welcomed and felt like she had to leave. I’m here shouting back at him couldn’t believe what I’m hearing. And just baffled with the whole situation.
I text her saying if there as something she wanted to talk about and here she is essay texting me that she knows when she’s not welcomed.
Myself and my bf are not speaking after such an argument , huge tension in the hosue and it’s all her fault. I have no words and I don’t know what to do.

Hi everyone 👋 What are you giving your 12 month olds for snacks? I don’t know why, but my daughter is starting to chuck food on the floor and has got picky in the last couple of weeks. Things she loved, she doesn’t anymore and I’m struggling for ideas!!

(From UK), please recommend flight snacks. We have a four hour flight to Antalya on Friday with a 18month old.

My baby won’t be 4 months until October 30th. But I have been letting him taste purées and he loves them. Do you think it’s too soon to let him eat more than a spoon full? He has got great head control and sits in high chair without assistance

I feel like whenever he is in the house he disrupts our routine and doesn’t listen to me regarding baby’s schedule 🥲 sometimes he gets it right but most of the time I have anxiety when he’s “trying to help”. When I say “I don’t need help” he thinks I’m just saying it not to bother him but I’ve said it so many times I have headaches. I love him, and when I need him to make baby tired or anything he’s great, but his unwanted “help” is driving me insane.
