When I flew with my 18 month old he had a sandwich, crisps, fruit pot (we’d got him a meal deal in the airport) and we’d also packed some fruit pouches and breadsticks and crackers

We took blueberries, melon sticks, veggie straws, mini coconut rolls and then bought a ploughman’s cheese snack board onboard the flight (we flew to Turkey at the end of September so 4 hour flight too).

You can take food through security for the little one btw. We didn’t have to buy any snacks or anything at the airport.

We got a meal deal in airport and then my son slept the whole way apart from takeoff and landing 🤣🤣

We usually take the Ella’s melty sticks, veggie straws & smoothie melts - they seem to go down well. I pack extras for the way home too as I know she likes them!

My mum gives my son gummy sweets!

I've just come home from work only to find out my mum has been giving my 13 month old son Maynards wine gums🫪

My son ran up to me so I picked him up and he started crying and pointing so I followed where he was pointing which was my mum's bag, he reached in and grabbed the packet and then started screaming because I told him no. She said I've only been giving him smaller pieces! So!?? Now my son's having a meltdown....

Told her off. She said she won't do it again. Do I trust her? No😅

It's hard parenting our parents.

Help me pleaseeeeee

I can’t believe I’m writing this but here’s the story - my boyf said he’s invited his mum over this morning as he wants to see her and she wants to see our son who’s now 10 months.

I said cool , I’m recovering from a cold and said he’ll look after me today the best as he could. Which was nice to hear.

Anyway. I didn’t think much of her visit I just got on with my day , rested a bit more and did the never ending laundry after our trip away. I was in and out the kitchen chatting a bit but very low energy.

She then decided to leave at 3:30 but , my boyfriend keeps saying you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. She said no it’s fine and the starts to cry!!

I could hear her saying no it’s fine please don’t worry I should go. I didn’t know if I should get involved so I just said bye and left them to talk.

When she’s left I’m not having an explosive argument with my BF because it was my fault , she didn’t feel welcomed and felt like she had to leave. I’m here shouting back at him couldn’t believe what I’m hearing. And just baffled with the whole situation.

I text her saying if there as something she wanted to talk about and here she is essay texting me that she knows when she’s not welcomed.

Myself and my bf are not speaking after such an argument , huge tension in the hosue and it’s all her fault. I have no words and I don’t know what to do.

Snacks for 1 year olds

Hi everyone 👋 What are you giving your 12 month olds for snacks? I don’t know why, but my daughter is starting to chuck food on the floor and has got picky in the last couple of weeks. Things she loved, she doesn’t anymore and I’m struggling for ideas!!

Sometimes I hate my husband

I feel like whenever he is in the house he disrupts our routine and doesn’t listen to me regarding baby’s schedule 🥲 sometimes he gets it right but most of the time I have anxiety when he’s “trying to help”. When I say “I don’t need help” he thinks I’m just saying it not to bother him but I’ve said it so many times I have headaches. I love him, and when I need him to make baby tired or anything he’s great, but his unwanted “help” is driving me insane.

Purées

My baby won’t be 4 months until October 30th. But I have been letting him taste purées and he loves them. Do you think it’s too soon to let him eat more than a spoon full? He has got great head control and sits in high chair without assistance
