My little one keeps waking up between 4 and 5 am shouting and crying and I don’t know why. She is teething but this has been going for a week now. Regardless of how much she sleeps during the day it’s still happening. Don’t know why this keeps happening but I’m shattered. She usually falls back to sleep within half an hour. Any ideas? Xx

Possibly teething, or general growing pains could even be nightmares my daughter went through a phase of just banshee screaming when she woke up it last about 3 months then she was moved to a big bed and she just started making a mess when she woke up but she was quite

We’ve been through this, I think it was a sleep regression 🫠 lasted around two months…we also had night wakings - crying…which we figured out was nightmares…seem to have come out of the other side now.
I think you’ve just gotta ride it out unfortunately 🥺 xx

She still sleeps with us…her cot is next to my bedside with the side removed so she can get to me easily (I know it’s not for everyone, but it works for us), if she woke in the night crying I just had to say mamas here a few times softly - if I touched her she would freak out until she heard my voice.
The early mornings righted itself after the nightmares stopped.
Apparently it’s a big development leap and their imagination kicking in!

I’ve been told that some toddlers go through horrible nightmares sometimes

Could be teething? The back molars are so painful!
My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.
Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.
But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???
Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?
This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.
😒
Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.
FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

Controversial one and I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I miss daughter waking up in the night. She’s always been a 6:30-7:30pm to bed kinda baby. But she’d wake up twice a night.
However all of a sudden she’s started sleeping through but the catch is she goes to sleep after 9pm. By the time we’ve put her to bed and go ourselves sorted there isn’t much of an evening left to spend with my husband.
We used to cook together and watch films or box sets and chat. It’s done wonder for keeping our love life going as we’ve navigated becoming parents. But now we almost don’t have any down time together.
We get up around 6:15am for our jobs so it’s not realistic for us to be staying up much later.
Has anyone else experienced similar?

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.
She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.
She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.
Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

What are we doing with these 4am wake ups let them play in cot while go back to sleep? Try get them back to sleep? Or just give up entirely and start your day 😂🫠

Has anyone had the flu jab during pregnancy and feeling absolutely horrendous? I had the jab last Friday and since Saturday I have been absolutely written off, blocked nose, terrible chesty cough, headache and sweats. Wondering whether I should of got it done in the first place 😭😭
