4 month kicking ALL night long - help!

My boy has just turned 4 months. We co sleep as I breastfeed at night and it works for us, currently.

The past week he has been kicking and writhing around CONSTANTLY. I feed him, but sometimes I think it’s comfort feeding. We’ll fall asleep and he’ll be moving around 10 mins later, kicking but his eyes are closed. I woke up about 15 times last night. Other nights it’s roughly 10. I’m genuinely going to go insane if it carries on.

Anyone else experienced this?

What could it be? Wind? Hunger?

My son moves around his cotbed like there’s no tomorrow and always has since he was born, he’s a sleep just moves loads lol I’d assume you’re little boy might be the same maybe try putting him on his own cot he might want more space

My little boy is exactly the same but I find that if he burps he doesn’t do it as much so I’m guessing it’s wind?
He falls asleep with the breast and he’s often too sleepy to wind. Most of the time he will constantly wriggle after feeding until he eventually falls into a deeper sleep.
If I do manage to get a burp after he feeds, he tends to settle much better

Yes it’s very common, kicking, twisting, scratching, randomly touching or squeezing parts of your body. These are all ways to regulate their nervous system and bond with you. It can be difficult especially when you’re sleep deprived. Best solution is to use a sleep sack and put them in their crib. If they have a tendency to wake up then you can keep a pillow between you two after they fall asleep. Make sure they are either sleeping towards the wall or a bed extension for them to keep rolling off the bed and fall.

Stepkids (12F, 17M) hating the new pregnancy.. how to handle?

Hey everyone, looking for advice on navigating some tough stepfamily dynamics.

My partner and I have been together for a while. There was a lot of drama with his ex at the beginning, so the kids didn't like me initially. I get why the transition was hard, but we're running into a wall now that I gave birth.

The 12-year-old daughter has been super moody and upset about the pregnancy, especially stressing over whether it's a girl (we waited till I gave birth to find out the gender). On a recent FaceTime (which included the ex and the 17yo son), she literally sat in the background the whole time texting, ignoring us completely.

It really unsettled me especially the thought of her resentment if I had a daughter. I gave birth to a baby boy but still.

How do you guys handle stepkids who are openly resentful about a new baby, and how do you set boundaries with FaceTime calls when the ex is involved? Any advice is appreciated!

Sudden mama only phase

My LO is 9 weeks, since last week he suddenly only wants me. He used to take a bottle ebm from my husband and be soothed by my dad/brother — now he refuses both and only calms when I hold him. Contact naps only, cries when put down.

Don’t get me wrong , i love him so much but sometimes need to step away 🥲😥 my back is killing me from holding him all day and sometimes I just need to function.— and right now I can't, because he won't settle for anyone else. My husband used to offer one bottle of ebm per day so that i can get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep but now that’s also impossible

Is this a phase? Will appreciate any tips

Looking for support

Last night was one of the most frightening and emotionally overwhelming nights I’ve experienced in a long time, and I’m honestly not sure what to do.

Taking baby shopping

I feel absolutely insane but I'm nervous to take my almost 4 month old out shopping with me lol. I was hoping he'd be able to sit in the cart so I don't have to bring in the car seat. Should I just put him in a baby wearing carrier? Why do I feel like I'm making a bigger deal out of this than it should be 😂

Maternity Bras - big boobs!

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for maternity bras for big boobs. Not necessarily needing breastfeeding friendly, but something comfortable and soft with support.

I am 9 weeks pregnant and my boobs already are spilling out of my current bras and they are soooo heavy and sore.

I'm a 36G normally but will need to go up 🙃 (genuinely thought they couldn't get any bigger 😂😂)
