Night time buffet breastfeeding

I have a 4.5 month old who co-sleeps/bedshares with me since he was 1 month.

The past month, I’ve been able to put him asleep without feeding, however I’ve recently notice at some point he’ll wake up and I’ll pop my breast out and start feeding him but it’s like he just feeds for hours. Sometimes it seems like he’ll just suckle my breast while sleeping. I’ve tried getting up and rocking him back to sleep which works but there are times I’m just too exhausted and throwing a boob at him is my lazy response.

He seems fine and is growing well. However he doesn’t feed much during the day. Maybe once in the morning, then once or twice from afternoon into evening. He’ll also sometimes spit up during the daytime feeds while the nighttime feeds he doesn’t.

I’m unsure if this is due to the regression phase or if Im training him in habits due to my exhausted laziness? Again he’s healthy and I don’t really have a problem with it but it’s nice to have my boob to myself while I sleep lol.

Haha I could have written this post. I try the shhh pat but eventually just hand over the boob. I think they like to suckle themselves to sleep so id doubt hes feeding the entire time. Probably happening more often because of the regression but i wouldn't overthink it xx

Have you tried pacifier? My used to use my breast for soothing more than eating. Gets better with age though . My baby is 7 months and she empties the boob in 10 min and is back asleep 🫶

Sleep regression

Does anyone know how long this sleep regression lasts? My son has gone from sleeping through to being up every hour for the last two weeks, I'm soooo tired!!🥲

Stroller recommendations

Hi everyone

Can I please ask for stroller reviews from anyone who loves their strollers especially if you push it on cobblestones or rough terrain.

I have a mama’s and papas Flip TX3 which I absolutely hate! Everytime I use it I get back pain from steering it. It’s also super bumpy and makes me worry about baby but she seems not to mind. Baby is 4 months and we have only used it 5 times. If you have a Flip TX3 , does it get better when baby is older and can sit up?

I chose it because of the lie flat option as I didn’t get a bassinet and also because its foldable and we live on the first floor.

I really need something which is those two things but with great suspension.

Thank you

Struggling

My baby just turned 3 weeks and although I was doing so well at the start, I feel like I’m being worn down now. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my life being constant 2 hour increments of feeding, burping, changing and trying to soothe a fussy baby, then grabbing whatever scraps of sleep I can when he goes down is so exhausting. One of my boobs has now started hurting (not the nipple, the boob itself) and I’m so stressed at night trying to get through without my partner waking as he has work the next day. I’m not sure what I’m asking for, I suppose I’m just venting to feel less alone. I’m so grateful to have my baby, but this is so hard and I’m scared.
