Vaccinations for my baby

My daughter is almost due for her first lot of vaccinations.
I’m very nervous about giving them to her because of stories I’ve heard. I’d like to hear everyone’s personal experiences on giving or not giving your babies vaccines ❤️

It's cruel to be kind... Rather my babies be protected from those nasty viruses than worry about dying from them, I'll never understand the controversy...

The actual vaccine is fine, my LO stopped crying very quickly. Was unwell for the evening afterwards, we have Calpol and he slept through. Perfectly fine the next morning. Babies have fast metabolism, it wears off in couple of days latest.
Exactly as Rhiannon said, better one day of them feeling unwell than having any of the actual illnesses. Because of those vaccines, babies are surviving and we don't see those people affected around us anymore.
I'd suggest to find info on each of the conditions if in doubt.

A vaccinated kid is always better than a dead one. Vaccinations were created so people don't die.

I am definitely pro vaccines but you can always ask to spilt them up if you don’t want your kiddo get stuck 4 times at once.

you need to vaccinate your child if you plan on putting them in public school, it’s the law. My mother decided not to vaccinate and i missed every first day of school and got shots instead. Yes as Chantrea said you can definitely space them out so they get less pokes per visit and still be fully vaccinated to attend preschool, if you plan to homeschool it’s your choice to vaccinate or not. the stories are scary but it’s very very unlikely bad things would happen from getting vaccinated rather than them catching a deadly virus that could have been prevented.

I got all my babies vaccines she got them at her 2 month visit i gave her Tylenol right before we went in she had no fever her legs still hurt after the vaccine so I gave her Tylenol when needed for pain Doc said it was okay instead of 4 hours bc she’s two months it’s 6 hours with a smaller dose I even waiting up to 8 hours though I didn’t want to give it to her unless I thought she absolutely needed it…also please go with your gut trust your gut and instincts you don’t want to have regrets also whatever happens I know you did right by your baby 🩷🩷

My september baby is finally here

My gorg girl is finally here due sept 29th born on the 7th sept 01:59 weighing a gorg 3870g, i went into spontaneous labour on tuesday morning woke up with the worst contractions which throughout the day got worse got to the hospital was 6cm dilated, made it to 9cm unmedicated before baby girl decided to go back to back in the last 1cm!! Bare in mind she was in the same position since 26weeks ahaha they knew her shoulder was going to get stuck and she was born with shoulder dystocia but no broken bones or sprains! So i had to get the epidural- anyone pregnant with a back to back baby the back contractions were the worst pain i ever felt in my life… anyways, forceps later and a small episiotomy as well - which literally after a day its healing really well down there and her tiny forceps scars are healing well as well. We are both so well and the hospital did an amazing job, another reason for epidural was they had to get her out quick as her heart rate was dropping so i had to push like asap they gave me 5 mins before the red button was pressed and a bunch of doctors ran in ahah, so far from my birth plan as i wanted to do 100% unmediated and in a water pool but at least i didn’t end up in c section and managed to push baby girl out! One of the hardest things ive ever done in my life but she is perf ❤️

Dummy - do I don’t I?!?!

Help - my 4 week old has hit an episode every night now without fail that she is waking up every hour/2 for a feed which I think is ok for this age? But she is such a struggle to get back down to sleep and just makes constant squeals moans for about an extra hour before she is in proper sleep - would a dummy help her settle ? Can we introduce only at night?!

Need some advice

My baby is on cow and gate and has been for the last 2 weeks. I introduced breast alongside but she is refusing to latch because of the confusion and is getting frustrated when I’m trying to feed. However I’ve now stopped (for my mental state) she’s now showing signs of being very uncomfortable and straining and isn’t pooing until over 48 hours. We have been to the doctors and they have said because she is showing signs of uncomfortableness and straining to switch formulas. However they said not to use cow and gate comfort as it sits in the stomach longer.

Does anyone have any recommendations for formula that will help her bowels?

Speech

How many words does your 18mo have? We've got about 6/7 and have been told by nursery and the health visitor thats the lower end/slightly behind. She understands very well, but rarely uses the words she knows and was a late babbler.

Just wondering if anyone else had been through the same with any advice to help her speech?

Poonami proof nappies

Hey ladies!
I am a woman on the edge. My baby has not had a single poo in the last 3 days that hasn’t escaped out of her nappy somehow. We’re using pampers which are supposed to be poonami proof! Is my baby just an aggressive pooper?!
Thoughts, prayers and advice needed please ❤️
