Does anyone else hate their bump being touched ?? I am not talking about professionals but friends and family and even virtual strangers coming up to you and touch and even rubbing your bump like a Buddha

Oh yes of course, no one should touch your bump without your permission! I didn't let friends / family or anyone non-medical touch my bump (I'd refuse outright)

I’ve not got much of a bump but the only people that are allowed to touch it outside of professionals are my partner and my mum — I see my mum once a week so it’s just more that she can’t believe how big I’m getting (I was born at 24wks&my sister was born at 26wks so mum never got much of a bump with us so I think it’s just her way of actually being able to feel where baby is etc. she’s so looking forward to her grandson and getting up to mischief 🥺

Omg a friend did it once and it felt sooo awkward and annoying! Luckily I am rarely out unless its a medical app so I don’t get this, but now that you say it- I guess I be consciously with a coat around ppl I dont want touching!

Its the most annoying! It makes me feel like someone's pet pregnant person!

Gosh yes! Thankfully my last pregnancy I wasn’t too big till the end and that time I hardly went out so nobody could touch me much 🙈😩
Went into Mama’s and Papa’s yesterday but found it so overwhelming. Anyone have any recommendations of things we absolutely need for the newborn and what you couldn’t live with out? Which pushchair did you go for? There’s so much to choose from! First time mama needs help 💖

Hey! Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar
I’ve had two blood tests one at 9 weeks and another at 10 weeks and both came back showing girl chromosomes. However, whenever my doctor looks at baby on the scan, he can clearly see a nub between the legs. It was still really obvious at our most recent 12-week scan too!
Has anyone had this happen where the blood tests say girl but the scans have looked more like a boy? Did it become clearer later on?
We’re now waiting until our 16-week scan to see if anything changes 💕

I had my ‘booking’ in appointment yesterday over the phone and they set up my app and things. I have an appointment on there for 16 weeks but I still can’t see a 12 week appointment?
Is this normal?

I’m convinced my period came back on Friday, but when I’ve googled it it says it’s just the PP bleeding. But that stopped over a week and a half ago (had a C-Section). I know it can start up again but this feels very different. I have had a migraine (only get them when I’m on my period), constipation and the pattern of the bleeding is exactly like my periods used to be. Could this be possible? Baby is 4 weeks old tomorrow.

Hello!
Has anyone ever had an SVT during pregnancy? I have no underlying heart issues and no family history, however last week my heart raised to 151bpm and stayed like it for hours. Had to call an ambulance and be kept in A&E overnight - was given adenosine to bring it down but it was very scary. I’m 21 weeks. I’m going to have an echocardiogram to see if there’s anything underlying. Thankfully baby boy is fine! Just wondering if anyone has ever had this as it’s made me so worried?

FTM and find that people keep touching my buggy like it’s public property every week.
They will move it out of the way, use it as a crutch, walk by and just grab it for to reason, try to squeeze past it or over when I make a hand gesture that I’m actively moving it out of their way. All while my baby is inside it and usually asleep.
It always happens so fast that I can’t even react. As an adult, I wouldn’t come and touch your vehicle...
Does this happen to anyone else?
