My little one will not settle at night in the next to me so we are thinking of getting a Moses basket to see if it helps feeling a bit more contained. Are Moses baskets safe for overnight sleep? Can you put them in the next to me? Thank you

My baby was the same he won’t sleep in his next to me if I haven’t got my hand next to him but when telling my midwife she said get a Moses basket and put it inside of the next to me as he might be finding the next to me too open

With my first we did exactly what Nikita mentioned - put the Moses basket in the next to me and he slept better. As long as it’s a clear space with a firm mattress it will be considered safe sleep

Yes, moses basket is safe for overnight sleep. We have been putting our moses basket inside the next to me cot as our little one isnt settling at night in the next to me.

My little girl would not settle in her next to me so we caved and ordered a Moses basket after 3 nights of no sleep. It has changed our entire experience she sleeps in it beautifully between every feed on a night.

Same here. We have just ordered the snuz baskit as bay does not seem to like the next to me. She sleeps beautifully in her pram bassinet downstairs which is a similar size

Have you tried to swaddle baby? I do that and he feels quite snug.

With my first we used the pram bassinet for a couple of weeks until they were ready for the next to me. This time around we bought a moses basket but baby still won't be put down in that either so don't expect it to be the magic cure!
My 2 year old keeps waking up at 5am and is cranky and tired enough that she wants to go back to sleep but needs lots of cuddles. But because by this point sleep pressure is low she’s takes over an hour to resettle and fall back to sleep. By this point my alarm is going off 6:15am for work 😖😩
She used to wake up nicely around 7am and we’d all be a lot calmer and have breakfast together but now I’m either letting her sleep in a bit so she’s not over tired and there’s always a big rush to get out the door.
Any tips?
She goes to bed at 8-8:30pm naps around 1pm for 1h-1h:30m

I’m trying to get my mind right, trying to find something to take my mind off this got feeling I’m having that something just isn’t right and when I have this feeling I’ve never been wrong. And I just want to not think about what it could possibly need cause I know once I find out it will not be pleasant. How do you shake your worries and this gut feeling?

Hi moms!
How are your babies sleeping, especially those under 3 months?
My almost 8-week-old baby sleeps for hours in my arms, on my chest, or in the carrier, even while I’m moving around doing chores. But the moment I transfer him to his bassinet, he starts grunting, wiggling, and wakes up and starts crying.
I can spend up to 2 hours trying to get him to nap in his bassinet, and he still doesn’t fall asleep. By then, his next feeding is already coming up, and he hasn’t napped at all! 😩
At night, he sleeps much more peacefully when we bed-share. I’ve also noticed that he’s calm and quiet on my chest but much noisier and more restless in his bassinet.
I’d love to hear your real-life experiences!
What actually helped your baby sleep in their bassinet? Do you use a special swaddle, a particular type of bassinet, or any tricks to make the transfer easier?

I’m looking for recommendations on a baby sling instead of a carrier or wrap, I’ve got both which my baby loves especially when it comes to nap time but it’s a mission getting on and off and she is getting heavier. I just want something quick and easy and didn’t know these even existed! She will be 2 months so not much neck control yet but is 12lbs 14oz, so conscious it needs to be decent for proper support.
Any mums have a sling that they’ve used from this age by any chance that they’ve loved?

Anybody else 2 month old sleep through the night? She has her last bottle at about 8 and then doesn’t wake until 5am anybody else similar?

When should I get worried that my son is showing little interest in crawling? He’s 8 months old? He’s great and sitting and has just started spinning when he sits but will refuse to go on his tummy.
