Is anyone else still breastfeeding their youngest? I’m 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant and My daughter is 2 and a half and honestly I don’t know how much longer I can cope. She only feeds at night to sleep but the pain is unbearable and my boobs are agony constantly.
I didn’t feed my 1st so didn’t experience this when pregnant with my daughter but now I am with number 3 I don’t know how I’m going to cope if she doesn’t wean herself off soon 😬 I know I can’t cope feeding both her and the baby when it comes any advice on weaning??

Im following cause im 5 weeks and breastfeeding my 22 month old. Luckily my boobs are fine at the moment but I do plan to wean her off before the baby gets here.

I bfed my 1st until I was 35 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and didn’t have pain but had really bad bf aversion & found that really hard. The further along I got, the more I realised I didn’t want to tandem feed so slowly started weaning. I did it backwards to all the recommendations I’ve ever seen (dropped bed time feed first, then night feeds then day feeds) but it worked for us. Now pregnant with my 3rd and still bf my 2nd and keen to wean him soon. I was already thinking about it before I got pregnant again but my boobs are sooo sore this time too! I’m planning to do the same as Kirsten said and replace with snacks / cup of milk and then distract distract distract! I thought it would be awful with my first and we’d both find it upsetting but he was way less bothered than I expected and once he’d weaned, he literally never asked again! Even once baby was here and I bf again 😊

I’m still feeding my 20 month old. She mostly feeds at night but I am currently working on night weaning her, to get her down to bedtime and morning only. I’ve not struggled with pain yet but I am struggling with just the sensation of feeding, mostly when she wants to stay latched for comfort in the night!

I bf my first until I was about half way through my pregnancy - roughly a month before she turned one. I wanted her weaned for turning one anyway and it was around Christmas time, she had a cold and her latch was just rubbish this one particular night and it was killing me so I just decided then to stop altogether. I had cut down my feeds though by this point to twice in a 24 hour period and a week later my milk had dried up.
It was sore at times to feed her, the further into my pregnancy the more sore it felt, and when I stopped it felt right

I am still breastfeeding my 18 month old and the pain the last few days!! My god! I’m only 6 weeks and I’m already like I need to try ween fast! The issue I’m having as it’s my daughter’s comfort really and I’m struggling for her (understandably) to understand why I don’t want her to. Going to have to make more of a conscious effort to wean her soon I think.

I made it 3 months into my last pregnancy while breastfeeding my 16 month old I found my supply dropped anyway she fed less dropped to one feed a night then when I absolutely couldn't do it anymore daddy did bedtime for a week while she got used to no boobie milk and it was such a smooth transition then we went to taking it in turns to do bed till I gave birth

I had to stop breastfeeding my 26month old a couple of weeks ago, the pain was excruciating. I felt so guilty as I really wanted him to self wean. I persisted through a week or so with the pain, hoping it would subside but I just couldnt go on. I'm 9w now!
I’m going alittle crazy! My ebf 11 week old for the past 3 weeks will only poop every 6 days. Brought it up to the pediatrician and I’ve done everything they told us to do. Bicycle kicks, tummy rubs, rectal temp check, warm baths and even a suppository. He is very low on the percentile like 9% so I feel like he isn’t holding on to the milk and about day 4 he is so uncomfortable. We took him to the ER Saturday and they did a xray and just told us he had gas. Went to a follow-up peds appointment and they started him on liquid Pepcid due to possible silent reflux. He burps & farts during/ after feeds. We give mylicon or gripe water for the gas discomfort which helps sometimes. I have a feeling this isn’t normal especially when he used to poop everyday.
Pic so we don’t get lost

Vaginal birth with epidural, born facing up, 8lbs 8oz. My healthy and perfect baby girl. I did get a second degree year and wanted to know how other moms have healed from this and how different my vagina will be after 6 weeks? What has been your guys experience with this.

I have a load of leftover products either unopened or only used once, it seems a shame to throw them away any ideas what I can do with them? I don’t have any friends expecting or likely to get pregnant soon and I guess most places wouldn’t take them as donations? Based in London.

Hi everyone
Sorry about the subject I just want someone to talk to. I’ve been feeling anxious and depressed for a long time but since having my children I just don’t want them to see me sad and worried all the time.
I went to the doctors to discuss this with them and was recommended doing couch to 5k with no other help offered? Is this normal.
I understand exercise can sometimes help but I don’t have the time whatsoever as I have no family to help.
I cried my eyes out to this male doctor who offered a few leaflets and couch to 5k and ended it as that.
I left the room in tears.
I’ve never wanted to burden anyone with my problems so I’ve just kept silent about it ever since but I just want to feel happy again
I’m sorry for the sensitive subject

Does anyone have any tips on how to stop milk leaking? After pumping I’ll put on a nipple pad but it gets soaked up and I leak through my tops/pyjamas.
Does anyone have any nipple pad recommendations? At the moment I’m just using the Boots own make.
