Feeling anxious and depressed

Hi everyone
Sorry about the subject I just want someone to talk to. I’ve been feeling anxious and depressed for a long time but since having my children I just don’t want them to see me sad and worried all the time.
I went to the doctors to discuss this with them and was recommended doing couch to 5k with no other help offered? Is this normal.
I understand exercise can sometimes help but I don’t have the time whatsoever as I have no family to help.
I cried my eyes out to this male doctor who offered a few leaflets and couch to 5k and ended it as that.
I left the room in tears.
I’ve never wanted to burden anyone with my problems so I’ve just kept silent about it ever since but I just want to feel happy again
I’m sorry for the sensitive subject

Hey!

I’m so sorry to hear that you are feeling down. Recommending exercise does feel like a bit of a cop out truthfully. I would advise therapy maybe as this will allow you to speak with someone that is invested in your mental health ❤️

If you want to chat my dms are always open, you’re not alone xx

Ask to see a female doctor with special interest women's health, or a doctor with interest in mental health

That gp sounds dog shit. Mental health resources are very lacking in UK however depending how old your kids are you may be able to access help through perinatal MH. Ig not then I would ask for another apt with a dif doc and go prepared with what you would like them to do for you

Baby poops

I’m going alittle crazy! My ebf 11 week old for the past 3 weeks will only poop every 6 days. Brought it up to the pediatrician and I’ve done everything they told us to do. Bicycle kicks, tummy rubs, rectal temp check, warm baths and even a suppository. He is very low on the percentile like 9% so I feel like he isn’t holding on to the milk and about day 4 he is so uncomfortable. We took him to the ER Saturday and they did a xray and just told us he had gas. Went to a follow-up peds appointment and they started him on liquid Pepcid due to possible silent reflux. He burps & farts during/ after feeds. We give mylicon or gripe water for the gas discomfort which helps sometimes. I have a feeling this isn’t normal especially when he used to poop everyday.
Pic so we don’t get lost

Sex..

I’m really not interested at all 8 weeks post partum and my husband has been asking. I had a traumatic birth with forceps, an episiotomy and a small tear in vagina. We didn’t really have sex during pregnancy and that was fine as we were both a little weirded out by it!

I just wanted to check if others have felt the same!

4 month regression

I’m finding it really difficult and bed time is taking 1-2 hours. It is full of false starts and my bub seems wired despite clearly showing signs of being exhausted. I feel like I have no down time and it is mentally draining.

What time do you put your baby down for bed?

Sleeping through the night

My 13 week old goes to bed at 9 and ends up sleeping through the night. Should I wake her up for feeds in between?
She is well fed and takes a few naps during the day time. In the evenings it is very difficult to put her to bed, therefore once she falls asleep, I don't want to wake her up for a feed as she may not go back to sleep and if I don't wake her up, she will end up missing feeds.
Anyone else going through this? Some advice will be really helpful...
