Toothbrush, some snacks maybe a comfy blanket for your man. That’s all I can think of for now lol I need ideas too due this month on the 23

For my bag, I’m packing:
-nightgown with button down for easy nursing x2
- robe and slippers
- grippy socks
- toiletries (soaps and lotions plus tooth brushes)
-emergency makeup bag 😂
- dermaplast was recommended from a friend!
- chargers one for me and him! Long cord was highly recommended
- small egg nightlight for the room
-leaving hospital outfit
-belly band

For my husband:
-a few sets of comfortable clothes
- going home outfit
-long charger
-socks and slippers
-SNACKS -highly recommended especially for smaller hospitals that don’t have food all the time
-pillow and blanket

For the baby I have his own bag of things. -few outfits to bring home baby as we aren’t sure how big baby will be.
-a little announcement sign and packed a few swaddles for pics
-burp cloths
-socks and mittens

I feel like I am slightly over packed but as a first time mom I have no idea what to expect!!

Diapers for yourself the pads they have are the worstttt maybe invest is your own peri bottle theirs also sucks ands snacks or you will literally starveee😂 also id say your own night gown bc they are gunna want full access to down there and the hospital gowns are very uncomfortable‼️

Oh and your own pillow and blanket for comfort because theirs are flat and blankets are like sandpaper‼️😂

My bag has diapers (for myself), high waisted pp underwear for over the diaper to make it less bulky, blanket, pillow, outfit to go home in, my own gown or robe works too, my own peri bottle, lots of snacks/drinks, slippers, my own shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hairbrush/toothbrush, deodorant, lotion, fuzzy socks, chargers, nursing bra/ nursing pads

For boyfriend comfy clothes, pillow/blanket, charger, snacks, toiletries, and slippers

For baby an outfit for in the hospital and an outfit to go home in his own swaddle (zip up kind), baby blanket and announcement board

This is my second first time i had wayyy to much stuff i swear this is all you need even this is doing to much‼️😂

Sorry for the spam of comments but if you only packed clothes and slippers and chargers for you baby and your man and had your carseat you would be fine they literally give you everything you need i just like my own stuff‼️

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
