So I have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. Outside of a few weeks of VERY part time work + a few random cleaning jobs, I have been a SAHM. My kids dad broke up with me a few weeks before our 6 month old was born and we still live together. We sleep separately, but do things as a family otherwise. I’m on a wait list for income based housing and have been searching for a WFH job since my part time job didn’t work out schedule wise. It’s hard. I find myself having weeks where I am really, really holding on to hope that he will change his mind. I guess I just want a friend who gets it or someone who will try that doesn’t know him in real life. I want to vent, but I don’t want real life people thinking he sucks just because I’m sad that day.

Why did he break up with u?
Unless u did something horrible for him to break up with u then I mean he does suck. He is letting u go through this and he is the father of those kids. That’s the lowest of the lowest.
I honestly think women need to allow ourselves to give our kids to their dads if we are struggling bc being a single mother is no fucking joke and men need to be held responsible.

U can message me. I’m going through something similar
Any mums give their 4 month old babies any food like puree or pouches?

Has ever come across this before? I’m soo worried. Not sure if it’s affecting his feeding.. but he eats ok.

Hi, throughout duration of my pregnancy the husband has been rude and inconsiderate. He has forgotten my birthday and our anniversary.
I’m not sure if obedience school is an option at this age because he is 40 now and beyond the point of training age.
Any tips or helpful tricks to mediate his autonomy at this time ?

I’m due to start potty training my daughter (finally) next week! She’s 2.5 years old. And I just need some tips cause I’m so nervous about it.
I’ve got some potty training underwear for her and some potties to put on each room and an extra seat for the toilet.
My house is carpet so I’m dreading this so much.
She used to tell me when we she needed to poo but the past few days she hasn’t?
Are there any tips to help it go smoothly and quickly(hopefully) since I was have a 3 month old to deal with.

Hey mamas so I need to know if I’m in the wrong here.
Me and my partner have been together for nearly 12 years and we had our beautiful son in October last year and got engaged in December.
I’m 29 now and he’s 30 I’ve worked since I was 17 and obviously paid into my pension now, before we had our son he was my beneficiary but last month I changed it to my son without discussing it with him.
He is very upset and feels like I’m “pushing him out” and is also really upset that I didn’t discuss it with him first before changing it. I didnt think it would upset him, I didn’t think I needed to discuss since it’s my money that I’ve worked hard for.
Just to add he’s never had a job, so never paid into a pension so I personally don’t think he has a say
I guess I could understand if he had been paying into a pension and he put me as his beneficiary and I had my son but I’m really struggling to understand why he’s upset with me.
Please tell me if I’m in the wrong or if he is just being really dramatic about it.
