I’m a little over a month pp and I feel like my incision is kinda lumpy feeling. Not the actual scar on the surface but under the surface there are places that feel firmer than others. Is this typical for others. My incision has healed pretty well ok the surface, no scabbing left. When I rub my finger along the incision it just feels bumpy and uneven. I assume it is the other layers joined beneath but I have purposely never looked up the ins and outs of c section closure.

I have the same feeling

Mine felt bumpy when I was around 1 month pp and assumed it was the stitches I could feel still. Nearly 3 months pp and it’s completely smooth now!

mine feels the same way

Mines still bumpy at 9 months PP

Look at c-section uk and 360Mama on Instagram they have loads of info about scar care and scar massage!

Yes, it gets smoother over the years

Yes it’s scar tissue. You can do scar massages with body oil/lotion but usually overtime it even outs.
My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.
Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.
But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???
Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?
This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.
😒
Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.
FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

Controversial one and I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I miss daughter waking up in the night. She’s always been a 6:30-7:30pm to bed kinda baby. But she’d wake up twice a night.
However all of a sudden she’s started sleeping through but the catch is she goes to sleep after 9pm. By the time we’ve put her to bed and go ourselves sorted there isn’t much of an evening left to spend with my husband.
We used to cook together and watch films or box sets and chat. It’s done wonder for keeping our love life going as we’ve navigated becoming parents. But now we almost don’t have any down time together.
We get up around 6:15am for our jobs so it’s not realistic for us to be staying up much later.
Has anyone else experienced similar?

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.
She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.
She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.
Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

What are we doing with these 4am wake ups let them play in cot while go back to sleep? Try get them back to sleep? Or just give up entirely and start your day 😂🫠
