At 39 weeks (sat just gone) I had a sweep, that night I lost my plug and contractions began every 6-7 mins, I contracted all day yesterday and through the night they have stopped. I feel so disheartened and down as I thought this was the start of my labour. Has this happened to anyone?

This actually happened to me (I was induced but same thing about contractions starting and then stopping at night) and the midwife said that they can stop at night if you're not far enough into your labour because our bodies are still stuck in the caveman days where it wasn't safe to birth at night so your body naturally stops and then starts again the next day when its 'safe' to be vulnerable in labour.
It might not be true but it makes sense 😂. Fingers crossed for you for today 💕
Yes but my contractions were strong and regular the other night through the night

My waters broke then a few hours later contractions started, ended up going to hospital after “labouring” for 5 hours cus I thought it was time, everything stopped as soon as I walked through the hospital doors. They sent me home at 9am I was so disheartened and cried the whole way home. I slept til 5pm, contractions started again at 5:30pm and they were unbearable by 6, got to hospital at 7 and baby was here at 10:30!

I had this with my first. Contractions came, got fairly close together and then never progressed and stopped. I was gutted and blamed it on having too many people (husbands) family in my house fussing and stressing me out 😅 went into labour the next evening!

This happened to me. Really intense surges. Then... stopped. I went for a walk, things got intense again then... stopped. My daughter came home from nannas, we went to bed then I had to call nanna again as I started getting REALLY intense surges. It was a long slow labour
Contractions have been regular then seemed to taper off a bit. Screenshot from my app. Is this actually labour? Each contraction is very painful and im sort of trying to breathe through them but also sometimes having to moan. I'm shattered as I've not slept a wink so far tonight as its been ongoing on and off all evening/night. Should I call triage and ask to be seen? Don't want a wasted 40min journey 🙈

Waters broke at 36 plus 4, after 36 hours of labour, including the most intense contractions and pushing that I thought was impossible (you’ve got this ladies!) followed being cut open and stitched back up to get her out when she was stuck, my darling daughter Loretta was born at 5 pounds 5 🩷

Has anyone felt movement yet?

Mums, has this ever happened to you?
My 9-week-old was being held upright and for a second I took my hand away from supporting his upper back/neck. He suddenly flopped backwards quite far and it really scared me. He seemed completely fine afterwards and has been acting normally.
I know babies this age still have wobbly head control, but has anyone else had a similar moment? I think I just need some reassurance 😭

Hi! I’m approaching 8 weeks with my second! With my first pregnancy I had ZERO morning sickness and honestly the best pregnancy ever- symptom free and thriving! However, this time around the morning sickness is kicking my butt ALL day! Any tips/tricks mamas? 🙏🏽
