If I'm trying to get him (8 weeks old) to sleep/ back to sleep then I keep the swaddle on and then transfer him when he falls asleep on the breast!

Hiya , according to NHS-related guidance, it is generally recommended to unswaddle your baby during feeds. While swaddling helps with sleep, it can cause overheating during feeding, restrict necessary movement for a good latch, and potentially reduce feeding frequency. Ensure the baby's hands are free to touch your skin xx

We used love to dream swaddle bags and we just took LO arms out overnight.

Mine likes to move his arms and a lactation consultant said that to have a deeper latch he should have the arms on each side of the boob.
We use the love to dream swaddles so only take the zip down to his middle and take the arms out

At night if I bottle feed mine I will leave him swaddle so he can fall back asleep easier. I’m able to burp him while he is swaddle as well. My baby has colic really bad and will scream and cry all night long so I try not to disturb him too much for feed and changes. During the day I will take him out of the swaddle to feed him and let him be free for a while

At night I would change my baby’s nappy’s so I removed swaddle fed and then wrapped back up when putting down !

Baby doll

Anyone get their son a baby doll? Did they love it?
Thinking of getting mine one for christmas as he's gravitated towards one a couple of times at a toddler group. For context my son will be 18 months, nearly 19 months at Christmas.

Gut feeling

I’m trying to get my mind right, trying to find something to take my mind off this got feeling I’m having that something just isn’t right and when I have this feeling I’ve never been wrong. And I just want to not think about what it could possibly need cause I know once I find out it will not be pleasant. How do you shake your worries and this gut feeling?

Sleep training

Everyone on Instagram promoting sleep training either tends to charge for their course or says to ‘comment’ for their guide which in turn doesn’t really help much.

Anyone know of anyone actually giving advice on sleep training?

Cot transfer

My 2.5 week old baby can sleep in 2/3 hour stretches on me but everytime I move her into the bassinet she will wake up within minutes and want feeding again. I actually don’t mind her sleeping on me but as the night progresses and I get sleepy it obviously gets significantly more dangerous. Some nights I literally don’t sleep at all because it’s just constant feed, place in bassinet, resettle. I guess I’m looking for reassurance this isn’t forever? Is anyone in the same boat?

Cry it out?

Have you let your baby cry it out to get them to sleep through the night? Everyone has recommended it but I can’t bring myself to do it. The doctor said it’s the only way to have my baby sleep at night.
