Sleep/transition to cot bed advice

My little boy just hates going to bed. Yesterday was awake about 6:40am so I put him down for a nap at 12 and he didn’t sleep. Put him to bed and left him and he was asleep by 6:55pm but then he woke at 10:45pm and didn’t go back to sleep until 2:45am. He wanted to get up, said it was morning, wants to read books etc but at 1:15am after I left him in his cot he climbed out. Luckily I saw on the monitor he was trying to do it and got to the room just as his feet were about to hit the floor.

He had climbed out a few times when he wasn’t in his sleeping bag which wasn’t so bad but now he’s managing in the sleeping bag the cot has to go

I’m not ready for this, how can I transition to a bed when he refuses naps and bedtime anyway, what do I do?

Did you have to go back to sleep training, staying in there until they fall asleep etc?

I’ve transitioned my lo out of a cot about a year ago because he just hated it. I got him a low bed and told him it was his special bed for grownup babies, he sleeps quite well in it- however from time to time he asks for dad to sleep with him and also comes to our bed in the morning for one more nap. We’ve accepted it’s not an exact science and sometimes he just feels more comfortable and secure with us.
I’ve dropped his afternoon nap completely as whenever he took it, he would not sleep until 10-11pm, although I will let him sleep for 30-40 minutes in the day if he’s has a super active time and is really tired.

Stepkids (12F, 17M) hating the new pregnancy.. how to handle?

Hey everyone, looking for advice on navigating some tough stepfamily dynamics.

My partner and I have been together for a while. There was a lot of drama with his ex at the beginning, so the kids didn't like me initially. I get why the transition was hard, but we're running into a wall now that I gave birth.

The 12-year-old daughter has been super moody and upset about the pregnancy, especially stressing over whether it's a girl (we waited till I gave birth to find out the gender). On a recent FaceTime (which included the ex and the 17yo son), she literally sat in the background the whole time texting, ignoring us completely.

It really unsettled me especially the thought of her resentment if I had a daughter. I gave birth to a baby boy but still.

How do you guys handle stepkids who are openly resentful about a new baby, and how do you set boundaries with FaceTime calls when the ex is involved? Any advice is appreciated!

Looking for support

Last night was one of the most frightening and emotionally overwhelming nights I’ve experienced in a long time, and I’m honestly not sure what to do.

Taking baby shopping

I feel absolutely insane but I'm nervous to take my almost 4 month old out shopping with me lol. I was hoping he'd be able to sit in the cart so I don't have to bring in the car seat. Should I just put him in a baby wearing carrier? Why do I feel like I'm making a bigger deal out of this than it should be 😂

Maternity Bras - big boobs!

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for maternity bras for big boobs. Not necessarily needing breastfeeding friendly, but something comfortable and soft with support.

I am 9 weeks pregnant and my boobs already are spilling out of my current bras and they are soooo heavy and sore.

I'm a 36G normally but will need to go up 🙃 (genuinely thought they couldn't get any bigger 😂😂)

What are your 2 year old ACTUALLY like?

How long do they sleep at night?
Do they eat well?
Dothey talk?
So they have tantrums everyday?
Are they hard work??
