How do you keep your mood up?

My kids have been A LOT the last few days. Everyone’s moods have been all over the place. My oldest not listening to anything but crying easily over everything. The youngest screaming and being clingy all day, making my back hurt and constantly wanting snacks. Just starts my day off so rough and I don’t know how to get back to a positive place. How do you guys stay in a good mood??

Fake it till I make it. I’ll sing and dance instead of yelling or getting frustrated. Children have no idea!

Ahh I feel the same. It can be a lot. Better to just have some time out for yourself for couple of mins, to breath if you can.

Magnesium first thing in the morning before the craziness begins

My youngest is such a foodie and gets HANGRY (only 14 months 😭) I try to keep easy snack on hand so they’re readily available when needed.

I’ve also learned to just take 10-15 minutes at random and just zone them out (it’s hard but needed). Most of the time that includes me hiding in the bathroom and just scrolling on my phone 😅 or even just stepping outside for some air and a change of scenery.

I’ve recently been letting my boys go wild in the backyard…just playing with whatever and getting as dirty as they want and it’s allowed me to truly have a bit of “me time” as they explore. Then after, I put them in the bath for like 30+ minutes (my kids are obsessed with bathtime) and from there, it typically resets our day or they’re tired enough for a nap!

I listen to k-love radio. It helps a lot. Playing outside helps too even for 20-30 minutes since its winter here.

Doing some form of self care. Whether thats a face mask, shower, cup of tea/coffee

I believe in God so I just know that God's got me. I may lookup or think of scripture. I also take a moment to pause, look at my kids, and remember them as tiny little pudgeballs of fat or look at old photos of them when they were tiny. Going outside and just getting a little fresh air or even leaving the house to go to the library also help me. A new scene so that I'm not staring at my messy house 😅

MUSIC. And on a Friday night I’ll get dressed up and go salsa dancing to really feel the vibe and get away from everything. I can really let go and the world vanishes away when I’m on the dance floor focusing on my steps and the music and following the lead. But music makes my hips move instantly. Nomatter what mood I’m in. Pump up some Reggaeton or Afrobeats 👌🏼 I blast it in the car till it’s shaking

Mounjaro

Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Tired 10 weeks postpartum mum needing reassurance from formula-feeding mums 🙏

Hi mums, I’m 10 weeks postpartum and feeling so burnt out. My baby doesn't latch, so I’ve been pumping and mixed feeding. Pumping is exhausting me, and I’m really thinking about quitting.

Because I work in healthcare, the guilt is hitting me hard and I keep overthinking the benefits of breast milk. But my mental and physical health are slipping.

Would love to hear from moms whose babies are 100% formula-fed. Please tell me your formula babies are thriving and that you got your sanity back! Need some reassurance today. 🙏

Bedtime

When should I start getting my little one into a bed routine? He’s 2 months old and will go to bed with me.. normally I don’t go to bed until 10pm due to having other kids and cleaning up etc.. but is it a good idea to be getting him into his own routine and setting up a monitor in his cot or is it too early for him?

Back sleeping!!

I’m 23+3 as still sleeping on my back. I can’t for life of me stay on side. I did buy one of those huge U shape pillows but I don’t find it comfy then end up chucking it on floor in middle of night. I think it’s kinda fine until 3rd Tri. Just want to know if anyone else is really struggling to stay on there side and end up on back!

7 week old baby won’t sleep

I’m genuinely at a loss. My 7 week old will not sleep on a night time. Everytime she falls asleep in my arms I go to put her down and she wakes up instantly is awake for hours afterwards
