Hi, my 11 month old just refuses to drink water. She’s breastfeed so after every meal she will just want some milk.
If I try to give her water she will just spit it out or just throw the bottle. It’s starting to get warm and I’m just worried about dehydration. Any advice on what I can do pls?
I have tried adding some freshly squeezed orange juice to it but nothing.

Have you tried giving her water in a different cup or bottle?

I’m having this problem aswell. She used to drink water after mealtimes before but now just totally refuses and will only have breast milk

Honestly just a a little bit of organic squash just so it gives it a taste and then try just water after. It’s not going to harm them and you know they are staying hydrated

What worked for my little one was that I started giving water from teaspoons with after and before the meals, I give 5-10 teaspoons water as much as he tolerates, This gradually increased and he is now drinking water from straw cups.

Open cup?
My gorg girl is finally here due sept 29th born on the 7th sept 01:59 weighing a gorg 3870g, i went into spontaneous labour on tuesday morning woke up with the worst contractions which throughout the day got worse got to the hospital was 6cm dilated, made it to 9cm unmedicated before baby girl decided to go back to back in the last 1cm!! Bare in mind she was in the same position since 26weeks ahaha they knew her shoulder was going to get stuck and she was born with shoulder dystocia but no broken bones or sprains! So i had to get the epidural- anyone pregnant with a back to back baby the back contractions were the worst pain i ever felt in my life… anyways, forceps later and a small episiotomy as well - which literally after a day its healing really well down there and her tiny forceps scars are healing well as well. We are both so well and the hospital did an amazing job, another reason for epidural was they had to get her out quick as her heart rate was dropping so i had to push like asap they gave me 5 mins before the red button was pressed and a bunch of doctors ran in ahah, so far from my birth plan as i wanted to do 100% unmediated and in a water pool but at least i didn’t end up in c section and managed to push baby girl out! One of the hardest things ive ever done in my life but she is perf ❤️

How many words does your 18mo have? We've got about 6/7 and have been told by nursery and the health visitor thats the lower end/slightly behind. She understands very well, but rarely uses the words she knows and was a late babbler.
Just wondering if anyone else had been through the same with any advice to help her speech?

My baby is on cow and gate and has been for the last 2 weeks. I introduced breast alongside but she is refusing to latch because of the confusion and is getting frustrated when I’m trying to feed. However I’ve now stopped (for my mental state) she’s now showing signs of being very uncomfortable and straining and isn’t pooing until over 48 hours. We have been to the doctors and they have said because she is showing signs of uncomfortableness and straining to switch formulas. However they said not to use cow and gate comfort as it sits in the stomach longer.
Does anyone have any recommendations for formula that will help her bowels?

Hey ladies!
I am a woman on the edge. My baby has not had a single poo in the last 3 days that hasn’t escaped out of her nappy somehow. We’re using pampers which are supposed to be poonami proof! Is my baby just an aggressive pooper?!
Thoughts, prayers and advice needed please ❤️

Looking for some advice, my nearly 5 week old baby will suck on a dummy for around 1-2 mins then spits it out and start fussing again that he wants it, sometimes he will even wake up from a nap for it. This will continue until he falls into a deep sleep and eventually when the dummy falls out he won’t wake back up . He will also settle without a dummy so does he maybe just not want it or are the dummies too big for his mouth I’m not sure 😩 we have tried the mam newborn orthodontic ones and the tommee tippee 0-2 month (the teat on these are a lot bigger). He is also formula fed, has anyone else been through this if so all advice welcome 🙏🏻
