Hello!! My little one is on the way this summer and I am trying to get ahead of the game, unlike last time, with as much baby stuff as possible. With my first son, I used the Medela “hands free” pump. It was fine, but I didn’t like that I was forced to be connected to the wall for every pump. I have been looking into the true “hands free” pumps that allow you to walk around and move and not be glued to one area for 30 min. Looking at the Blue Spectra model, but not really liking the huge pump parts that dangle and whatnot.
I was just afraid of not getting an adequate pump bc the suction on those mobile pumps aren’t as strong. I was just seeing if anyone had recommendations on a pump that gets good suction and sessions, but doesn’t force you to stay plugged in. If I absolutely have to, I will get another one of those for the sake of getting and maintaining a good supply; but why not ask a bunch of moms for advice instead lololol

I have the nullie electric hands free pumps, and i also have a manual pump. I like the nullie ones for when im out as i can stick them on and pump, and for power pumping they have different setting and suctions and my boobs do feel pretty empty after sessions, then i use my manual one at home as i find it empties my boobs quicker as im able to use my hands to help express

I have Elvie stride 2, it’s alright and does its job, sometimes it pumps good and sometimes literally a drop-.- and it’s kinda painful to be honest. I just got spectra the blue one, all tho I don’t like that the pumps are out and about, it does an amazing job! 10 minutes to empty completely and it’s sooooooo gentle yet so effective at what it does! In love! My Elvie takes 30-45 minutes to get me empty. I’ll keep Elvie for when I’m traveling and need something more low key, but at home I’m definitely using spectra! Also I heard baby Buddha pumps are great. I’ll see about getting those through insurance my next pregnancy

I use the Blue Spectra and have the Eufy Pro 1 wearables that work great!

I use the medella freestyle. Not its done me 23 months very well
My 2 year old keeps waking up at 5am and is cranky and tired enough that she wants to go back to sleep but needs lots of cuddles. But because by this point sleep pressure is low she’s takes over an hour to resettle and fall back to sleep. By this point my alarm is going off 6:15am for work 😖😩
She used to wake up nicely around 7am and we’d all be a lot calmer and have breakfast together but now I’m either letting her sleep in a bit so she’s not over tired and there’s always a big rush to get out the door.
Any tips?
She goes to bed at 8-8:30pm naps around 1pm for 1h-1h:30m

I’m trying to get my mind right, trying to find something to take my mind off this got feeling I’m having that something just isn’t right and when I have this feeling I’ve never been wrong. And I just want to not think about what it could possibly need cause I know once I find out it will not be pleasant. How do you shake your worries and this gut feeling?

Hi moms!
How are your babies sleeping, especially those under 3 months?
My almost 8-week-old baby sleeps for hours in my arms, on my chest, or in the carrier, even while I’m moving around doing chores. But the moment I transfer him to his bassinet, he starts grunting, wiggling, and wakes up and starts crying.
I can spend up to 2 hours trying to get him to nap in his bassinet, and he still doesn’t fall asleep. By then, his next feeding is already coming up, and he hasn’t napped at all! 😩
At night, he sleeps much more peacefully when we bed-share. I’ve also noticed that he’s calm and quiet on my chest but much noisier and more restless in his bassinet.
I’d love to hear your real-life experiences!
What actually helped your baby sleep in their bassinet? Do you use a special swaddle, a particular type of bassinet, or any tricks to make the transfer easier?

Anybody else 2 month old sleep through the night? She has her last bottle at about 8 and then doesn’t wake until 5am anybody else similar?

When should I get worried that my son is showing little interest in crawling? He’s 8 months old? He’s great and sitting and has just started spinning when he sits but will refuse to go on his tummy.

I’m a first time mom and my newborn is about 4 weeks now and began being fussy and just about inconsolable around 2 weeks. Most days he doesn’t nap or sleep at all during the day and is crying just about all day. I can’t put him down without him crying & if i’m lucky on the days he does nap he’s down for about 2-3 hours. I was told newborns sleep most of the day and have “wake windows” but mine doesn’t at all. He’s fed, changed & burped but will cry from morning to night and I spend my days holding and rocking him. Any tips?
