Triage call.

Looking at calling triage for reduced fetal movements. Just want to know what would happen. I live in Andover, which has it's own hospital but it's not massive and does not have its own maternity 'ward' just a 'hub' where bloods are taken, midwives appointments are had, ect... and a separate part for pregnancy ultrasounds. I am 25 weeks 3 days and I am very concerned, he's usually very active (yes I know 'patterns'/routines are not formed until past 28 weeks but this is definitely not normal for him).
I'm just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation has been sent to be checked at the hub or if they were sent to a bigger hospital in the area for example Basingstoke or Winchester?
Mainly wondering as I do not drive and will have to make travel arrangements.
Thank you in advance 😊

Because of how many weeks you are all that they can do is check babys heart beat with a little monitor so they won’t put you on the big monitors till your 28 weeks but I would say they would make you go to a hospital with a maternity ward to get checked as little hospitals probably aren’t open for triage but defo give the a call if your really concerned so you can get checked even if it is a drive x

How are we getting babies ready to come out?

I’m not usually one to be impatient and I do believe babies come when they’re ready (hence getting to 42+1 in my first pregnany).
However, I have a toddler and had a previous c-section. I’m scared about how continuing to get bigger will affect my scar / possibility of it rupturing.
I am booked for an elective section if baby is not here by next Monday - but I really would prefer a VBAC (for recovery with a toddler)

Did you do anything that you truly think helped bring on labour?

Slow labour?

So i went in for my sweep today, i am 39+6. Baby is 3/5 engaged. I was already around 4cm dilated but NOT in active labour. Ive been having cramps for the past 2 weeks and honestly feel like the sweep did absolutely nothing🙂. I lost my mucus plug and that was about it. I feel like this baby just doesnt want to come out. Im tired and so over it. The pain is absolutely just tiring me out however everytime i go to triage to get it checked out they say its normal. I have tried everything and anything at this point. Is anyone else in the same boat or is it just me

Induction

Those who have experienced induction before, whether good or bad experiences, are you able to pinpoint why the outcome was good or bad? For example what week were you induced at and was there a point in the process that looking back was a good sign/sign things probably would not progress?

Hopefully this makes some sort of sense....
