Potty training/sleep regression

Anyone else who’s potty training got a sleep regression with it? 11 days in and he’s doing really well

I know sleep regressions can be linked to milestones/new skills and this is such a big learning curve.

But he’s slept 13hours a night (6pm-7am or later) for over a year and all of a sudden, he’s waking at 5:30am and super restless in the night 😳

He likely just needs less sleep now 13 hours is a very long night for a child of this age x

We had a sleep regression when we potty trained lasted a couple of weeks. Also it’s normal to stay in nappies overnight until they are a lot older as it’s more hormonal at night not necessarily something you can train. Some mornings the nappy is completely dry others it’s wet so I wouldn’t worry about that

I was literally coming on here to post the exact same thing. We are on week three of potty training and sleep has been terrible with lots of split nights, however the last two days we've been wide awake for the day screaming at 3 am to come and play downstairs and today it's been a 4:30 wake. No matter what I try she will not go back to sleep. Our daughter doesn't nap anymore, so I know she's not getting too much sleep.

On the potty training front she's done so well though.

Sorry I can't be of any help. Grateful to find your post though to know we're not alone x

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
