Any advice on dropping the lunchtime formula bottle? My son is about to turn 10 months. He has a morning and bedtime bottle but can't seem to drop the lunchtime one (all 7oz).
He does also wake in the night and I've started to reduce to 5oz in night, with a look to reducing this more and changing to water. I really feel he's waking for comfort and not milk. He won't settle just with a cuddle and won't take a dummy but wants to suck to sleep.
Also for anyone saying it's normal for babies to wake up, it's not the waking up that I'm concerned about , it's am I creating a habit still giving him formula at night and I don't want to give him cavities- he has 6 teeth
I know all babies are different but with my 1st , he wss eating plenty of food and was only having a bedtime bottle plus sleeping right through by this point. We always bottle fed to sleep but he had a dummy. He was on cows milk from a sippy cup before bedtime at 12 months and no formula.

What’s his food intake like? Milk is still his main source of nutrition until 12 months. He may just prefer milk a bit more than your previous baby. My daughter was difficult to get off milk and onto more solids
He does like food but he gets distracted easily (often by my eldest 🙈🙈).
He has 3 meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner but I've just started increasing so he can have 'dessert' at lunch or dinner too and maybe a small snack around 3/4 if he needs it.
I'm anxious too because he's starting nursery in mid april so ideally I want him on solids apart from a bedtime bottle - morning if he absolutely needs it by then.
He is 1 at the start of May
