Have you started potty training yet? How is that going for you and if you have multiple children was it easier to potty train your boys or girls?! How did you know they were ready and did you use the potty stepstool thing on the real toilet or like the baby/ toddler floor potties ?

We haven’t *really* started potty training the April 2024 baby yet. He’s shown some interest in the potty and we switched him to pull ups a little while ago so that we could maybe sorta start transitioning him, but (A) we have another baby arriving in a couple days, so potty training while heavily pregnant and then worrying about a regression afterwards felt like too much for me to mange personally. I already went through this (trying to potty train while pregnant) once before with his older sister and it did not work out very well, so I didn’t want to bother attempting it again this time. And (B) he’s very small for age, so when he sits on the potty currently, his feet don’t touch the floor and he sinks into the potty, and I don’t have the mental bandwidth to find a solution for that at the moment.
So I plan to wait a few more months, once we’re a little more settled with the new baby before I attempt potty training.

I just keep the potty in the living room/ play area. She usually shows interest in it if she’s naked 😂 but she doesn’t tell me before she has to go and has recently gone back to peeing in the floor instead. I give her a small piece of candy when she pees on the potty

We started when she started walking. She uses it most of the time. She's still in pull-ups and has an occasional accident. I think she'll be ready for underwear by 2.5. The Ms. Rachel potty video is incredible!

My boy has been taking his diaper off and going around the house I got him a potty we are going to transfer to pull ups when we are out of these diapers but I’m at a lost on how to do it I’m going to ask my older cousin lol

my daughter is beginning interest in the toilet, we got her a seat for the potty months ago before interest but now shes talking about the potty seat when we go in and wanting to flush the toilet. im gunna start potty training monday so we can be consistently home during the process.
im gunna try a scheduled method, bringing her to the toilet every 20-30 minutes. i’ll transition to either underwear or pull ups depending on how it goes.
