My son turns one in a couple of days and seems to want less and less formula. We are now doing an 8oz morning bottle, 6oz midday bottle, and an 8oz evening bottle. He eats super well during his meal times and has frequently been leaving anywhere from 1-3oz of formula (sometimes more) at the end. He has a pediatrician appointment this week so I’ll ask my doctor then, but in the meantime, does anyone have experience where their child slows down drinking formula themself? Should I lessen the ounces? We haven’t been advised to start milk yet, but he has a good dairy intake through cheese and such. Thanks!

My daughter self weaned around 11 months. I still offered 3 to 4 ounces per feed of formula until 1, but she preferred whole milk and solids.
I offered less formula because she consistently wasted at least half the bottle! It’s up to you!

Yeah mine was similar to yours; we switched him onto milk at about 11.5 months and now hardly has any, we just upped his dairy intake (boy loves his yoghurt haha) x
