We have the TV on at home. He doesn’t specifically watch it. Usually there’s a documentary on it.
In public, I have yet to give him my phone or an electronic. He’s 15months old.
This was just what organically happened for us 🤷🏼♀️

My boys are almost 4.5 and they get limited use of smartphones, no iPads/tablets, but we’re pretty lenient with tv.
Recently we took them to an arcade, which was fun but clearly overstimulating. I’m considering getting a Wii or Switch for Christmas but haven’t decided yet.

After age 2 we do allow daily screen time with limits. I do not notice adverse effects in my 4 year old due to screen time; if there were we would revisit how we approach it. Having really consistent boundaries with it has really been helpful. Before age 2 we do no screens 99% of the time.

Nothing but FaceTime until 1 year.
The exception being when I had to do her nail, then maybe 10 min of ms Rachel.
For a while now we’ve been stuck having a show on while she eats, she’s been sick a fair bit and it was one of the only ways she’d eat anything.
Trying to cut back.
15.5 months.
Low stim shows.

We’ve done zero screens so far (don’t own a tv) but I’m considering family movie nights eventually, using our projector, when our kids are much older.

Because we homeschool during the week I don't allow TV on the weekdays so I try to get them out of the house as much as possible. They're only allowed to watch TV on the weekends, but we keep it off during meals and while they're eating because they tend to get distracted and not eat while the TV is on.

We have a projector and allow him to watch stuff on that
I am personally against hand held screens, not anti all screens.

Unfortunately I have been leaning on screens a lot when I had severe morning sickness and the weather was rubbish but now I’m much better and the weather has improved so we are out most of the time. Now at home my daughter will bring me the remote to put the TV on 😭😭😭😭 so I am really trying to remove using the TV as much now when we are home

We do limited screen time. 30-45 minutes on school days. We may do a movie on the weekends. In the summer, we do very little.

No iPad ever, specific about what tv he’s allowed to watch, generally limited tv time

We have a little bit of TV at a set time every day while my daughter has some milk, that's since she turned 2 and it was a few times a week before that for 20 mins. I get her involved with everything I do during the day, she does yoga with me, has a spray bottle(of water) and cloth to "clean" while I am (an idea from peanut!), her own little knives and peeler and a little Henry for hoovering 😂 I keep any house tasks quite structured- like she knows after every meal the kitchen has a tidy up. It's just part of the routine for her. So I don't need to get a screen to entertain her. I'm aware that in part that's luck! We get out of the house most days for forest walks, trips to the library, play cafes, seeing friends etc. We do lots of art and crafts and reading and we play together. She'll play with her own things happily quite reliably now as well. The days I find it a struggle are when we're stuck in the house for days on end, sometimes we have a bit of extra TV on those days, like if we're feeling ill!

No brain rotting shows like YouTube kids or really bright fast shows. Mostly watch like pbs or older shows. No tv in the morning. They can pick a show after dinner and a family movie. Sometimes I’ll let them play on the iPad for educational apps like Duolingo. We will have zero screens for like a week to detox sometimes.

Limited/low stim stuff only
Occasionally dancing fruit since my 19-month-old loves it 😂but mostly old shows from the 90s/2000s cause they’re honestly the best 👀
